NOTICE IN CHANGE OF BANNER HEADER NAME
The DHS Baseball Boosters have changed the name on our web site banner since we are no longer part of the Duncanville High School Baseball Program. Having said that, we wish all the boys best of luck and a great 2015-2016 season to include their Coaching Staff.
We received our financial records back from the Purported Audit requested on May 26, 2015 by former Superintendent of Schools for Duncanville ISD Dr. Alfred Ray. After several months of stalling the results, we were told that nothing was wrong with our financial records, but we were called to come pick them up from the new Assistant Superintendent's office in which we did and was informed that it had been decided that no Booster Club would be part of the Baseball Program this year. We were good with that decision because we had grown apart from the program and the program had grown away from us as well.
We are volunteers first and foremost where needed, but we will always legally protect our Organization and Ourselves. Our Organization has the legal name of DHS Baseball Boosters under a 501 c(3) non profit under the Internal Revenue Code and we will maintain that name with other d/b/a's associated with it. We will maintain our URL: dhsbaseball.org as well and we are not part of Duncanville High School Baseball Program.
Thank you,
Bill McIntyre
Notice is hereby given that the DHS Baseball Booster Club is no longer affiliated with Duncanville High School and Duncanville High School Baseball Program. DHS Baseball Booster Club will remain an active Booster Club as a 501c(3) in the Duncanville community and continue to support students with scholarships. We will be expanding our scholarships throughout the DFW area schools and the State of Texas.
Thank you for your continued support!
