Duncan Family Benefit
Around a year ago, one of our precious and endearing friends passed away. Bobby Wayne Duncan died on April 4, 2013 due to several health complications. For over a month prior to his passing, Bobby put up an honorable fight in the hospitalto beat his illness, but God had already made plans to send him to heaven. During this time an astounding amount of medical bills were accumulated. Blair, Hunter and Merritt, not only having to gone through the trials of losing their beloved father and husband, now must deal with the daunting task of paying the expense of this tragic event.
Friends and family have decided to havew a benefit in order to assist the family in paying the enormous bills connected with Bobby's medical bills and his final resting place.
On June Saturday 7, 2014, a reverse raffle ticket drawing will be held at Southeastern Stokes Middle School.
Firends and family will be selling tickets for 50.00 leading up to the event. 2,500 will be given to the last ticket drawn. All benefits will go to the family in order to pay the costs of this heavy ordeal. Please find it in your heart to help a family that has nmeant so much to this community.
Along with the drawing, hotdogs, snacks and refreshments will be sold. Come out and join the fellowship and help show what community really means.
