Dunellen Recreation Department

Dunellen Recreation department offers a variety of programs for Borough residents of all ages. Whether it is our popular annual events such as our team events, sports camps, parades, Holiday events, or our one time events. We will strive to ensure our residents that they will have a wide variety of recreational programs. Go to CALENDAR and select  GENERAL CALENDAR (Click on the event for details)

Senior Movie Monday's is back! $5.00 for Movie, 2 slices of pizza, small soda, small popcorn..

Upcoming movies for our seniors: May 23rd, June 20th, July 18th, and August 22nd.

Movie start time is at 10am and pizza is served at 11am.

TENNIS ANYONE!! 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: April 5, 2022
DETAILS
Dunellen Recreation is offering two great options to play tennis this season.
OPTION 1: CLUB TENNIS FOR GRADES 6-8 for competitive play
6 weeks from April 19 - May 24 | Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 PM
Registration Fee: $55 for Dunellen residents; $70 for non-residents
OPTION 2: RECREATION TENNIS FOR GRADES 3-8 for drills & skills development
6 weeks from April 23 - May 28 | Saturdays 9-10 AM or 10-11 AM*
Registration Fee: $55 for Dunellen residents; $70 for non-residents
Players in grades 6-8 can sign up for BOTH Club Tennis and Recreation Tennis and SAVE - pay only $75/residents or $90/non-residents.
* Prior to the first session, players will be notified which time slot they have been assigned to; placement will be according to age and player compatibility.

SUMMER CAMP

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 17
Affordable summer fun for ages 5 - 12 starts the week of June 27. Camp is offered Monday through Thursdays until August 4 (no camp on 7/4) at the Dunellen Senior Center in Columbia Park. Flexible schedules - choose half day (8-11:30 AM at $30/day) or full day (8 AM-3 PM at $60/day). Campers participate in activities such as scavenger hunts, water games, ice cream, craft projects, garden projects, science program, tennis, Wiffle ball, kickball and more!
Camp is capped at 35 camper spots per day. Dunellen residents will have priority. Camp spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and once a day or week has reached capacity, no further registrations will be permitted. Your child's spot is only secured by payment for that day/week.

Volunteer Coaches SAFETY Clinic Schedule

If you are a volunteer coach interested in attending one of these programs, please contact the host agency administrator to register. They will provide you with the exact time, location, directions, and registration fee. NOTE: This schedule changes frequently as clinics are added or removed (when seating capacity is reached). Therefore, it is important that you refresh your browser often for the most current schedule of clinics.
