Deportivo Yonkers Soccer Club was Founded in 1989 by Jose Ortega as a educational organization, and now one of the four largest youth soccer club in Yonkers.

The Club's mission is to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and to engage children in gainful recreation through the game of soccer. DPY help them build positive self-esteem. The children also participate in recreational team games following (Yonkers Soccer Federation League) "Every one Plays”. We also offer a competitive traveling team, which is part of the Westchester Youth Soccer League. The children also participate in local, regional and invitational soccer tournaments.

Deportivo Yonkers Soccer Club brings soccer excitement to our youth in and out our community. Be part of this organation never ending fun! Be part of the world's game! All year-round indoors and outdoors, “every one plays” and everyone is welcome.

Dportivo Yonkers registers kids under the age of nineteen at all levels of competition. The goal is to emphasize fun and de-emphasize also give every child equal playing time, regardless of his or her ability, and to teach the game in a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere.
