The East Stroudsburg American Legion Baseball team will hold its open try outs on the following dates

Date- April 7th

Time - 10 Am

Location - Notre Dame High School baseball field

 

Date - April 14th

Time - 1Pm

Location - Notre Dame High school baseball field.

 

Try-outs are open to all area High school players 15 - 19 yrs old,  from any of the following schools- East Stroudsburg South & North, Stroudsburg, Pocono MT East and West and Notre Dame High school.

Players born in 1999 or before are no longer eligible to play.

ZACH WERNER TOOK HOME THE 2013 PITCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD GOING 7-0 ON THE SEASON. 

ZACH THREW THREE ONE HITTERS DURING THE SEASON,  LOSING A NO HIT BID ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME.

The 2012 East Stroudsburg American Legion baseball team set a record with wins this year of 18 in the highly competitive Northampton County American Legion baseball league. 2012 highlights are below:

NORCO NORTH DIVISION CHAMPIONS

CONGRATULATION TO DANIEL CARNEY, FORMER EASTBURG LEGION PLAYER WHO WAS DRAFTED BY THE FLORIDA MARLINS IN THE 2010 MLB DRAFT.

Zimmerman Wins Rawlings Gold glove award



Carey Zimmerman,won a Rawlings Gold Glove Award for his play in center feild for the 2010 college baseball season. The former EastBurg Legion and NORCO All-Star helped his College Team, East Stroudsburg University reach the PSAC playoffs in 2010 for the first time in four yrs. Carey hit just shy of .300 in 2010. Congrats to Carey and ESU.

John Soehngen 2009 NORCO top pitcher 8-1

John (Foop) Soehngen finished the 2009 season with a 8-1 record. John was the teams top pitcher and the NORCO Legion leagues top pitcher for 2009. Johns 2009 season is the tops in the 10yr history of the East Stroudsburg American Legion baseball team. Congrats on a great seaon John. John is now a member of the Northampton College baseball team.

Former EastBurg Legion Player and 4 time Norco All-Star finishes college career

Bill Hezel finished his college baseball career on a high note going 5-1 for the East Stroudsburg Univesity Baseball Warriors. He didn't allow an earned run in his final two starts, going six innings with six strikeouts vs. Philadelphia University and five innings with four strikeouts against Lock Haven, and was one of four ESU pitchers to record five wins on the season.Bill had 36 strikeouts in 36 innings. Congats to Bill on a fine college career.


2019 Team donation needed badly!

The East Stroudsburg American Legion Baseball Team is in dire need of local business support. American Legion Baseball is the highest level of summer baseball. The Team provides a arena for local East Stroudsburg baseball players to showcase themselves in front of college coaches. PLease help support these players in their efforts to move onto the next level of baseball.
