Our league has voted on a 15 run "Mercy Rule"
When a team goes up by 15 runs in the fifth inning or later ,the game ends.
Complete innings must be played ,UNLESS the home team goes up by 15 while
at bat in the fifth,or later.

The league will continue to use the double first base this season.
This is a half white,half orange rectangular base.
The white stays in fair territory and the orange in foul.
On any plays in the infield,the fielder uses the white half and the runner must use the orange.
On plays where the ball goes through the runner uses the white like a normal bag.
This should make contact at first base a thing of the past.
