Fitz Wrestling Club is a youth wrestling club where students age 5 to 15 learn the ground rules on how to wrestle. The students will meet 2 to 3 times a week for 2 hours each night. Fitz Wrestling Club is open to all students regardless of their sex and ethnic background. The students have the option to compete with various clubs in the tournaments. If the students do well enough, they can qualify to wrestle at the state tournament at the end of the season.

The young athletes will learn how to perform various wrestling moves such as single leg, double leg and high crotch take downs. They will also lean how to do throws, breakdowns and a variety of pinning combinations. These young athletes will learn how to compete with each other while developing good sportsmanship. Sportsmanship is crucial to be taught at a young age so as they develop into athletes, they will understand that they can be competitive and have fun at the same time.
