A Playoffs

Congratulations to the Blue Team, the 2026 A Division Champions!

8/2 Playoff Schedule:

1 seed Blue Team at 3 seed Bombers (Bombers 8-7), 830am, TJ

if Blue wins, they are the champions.

if Bombers win, winner take all game at 10am, Blue Team is home team (Blue 14-13).

7/26 Playoff Schedule:

4 Stoop Kidz at 1 Blue Team, at 830am, on Hawthorne 1. Winner moves on to Finals (best 2 of 3)

Finals will start at 10am, on Hawthorne 1, vs. 3 Bombers (If Stoop Kidz, Bombers will be home for games 1 and 3; if Blue Team, then Blue Team is home for games 1 and 3

Finals to be continued on 8/2. Game 2 830am FIELD TBD, Game 3 if necessary immediately follows.

7/19 playoff schedule (each series best 2 of 3):

4 Stoop Kidz at 1 Blue Team (10-6 blue) followed by 1 Blue Team at 4 Stoop Kidz (8-7 stoop), starting 830am, on TJ

3 Bombers at 2 La Familia (16-12 bombers) followed by 2 La Familia at 3 Bombers (15-13 bombers), starting 830am, on Berdan

7/12 playoff schedule:

1 seed Blue Team and 2 seed La Familia receive first round byes

Play-in games

8 seed Phantoms at 5 seed Ridge Auto (7-0 ridge), Hawthorne 1, 830AM. Winner plays at 10AM; loser eliminated.

7 seed REP at 6 seed Caribe (16-8 rep), Hawthorne 2, 830AM. Winner plays at 10AM; loser eliminated.

3 seed Bombers will play lowest remaining seed at 10AM on Hawthorne 2. If Phantoms defeat Ridge, Bombers play Phantoms. If Phantoms lose, Bombers play winner of REP/Caribe. (12-4 bombers)

4 seed Stoop Kidz will play highest remaining seed at 10AM on Hawthorne 1. If Ridge defeats Phantoms, Stoop Kids play Ridge. If Ridge loses, Stoop plays winner of REP/Caribe. (5-4 stoop)

***In the event Hawthorne is unplayable, games will be moved to Fair Lawn. ALL TEAMS scheduled for 7/12 should be prepared to play games at 830, 10 and 1130.

 

B Playoffs (Double Elimination)

Congratulations to the Noshers, the 2026 B regular and playoff champions!

7/26 Playoff Schedule:

6 Mavens at 2 Big Cheese Balls (17-9 cheese balls), 830am, on Hawthorne 2. Winner moves onto finals; loser eliminated.

Winner at 1 Noshers (8-5 noshers), 10am, on Hawthorne 2.

If Noshers win, they are B tournament champions. If opponent wins, the final game will be played on 8/2 (FIELD AND TIME TBD).

7/19 playoff schedule:

7 SeaDogs at 5 Bentchers (17-11 seadogs), schmidt, 830am. Winner plays 10am on H2; loser eliminated

6 Mavens at 4 Los Caribenos (8-5 mavens), wp, 830am. Winner plays 10am on H2; loser eliminated

2 Big Cheese Balls at 1 Noshers (17-6 noshers), schmidt, 10am.

Winners of 830am games play on wp, 10am. (15-10 mavens)

7/12 playoff schedule:

1 seed Noshers receives first round bye

7 seed SeaDogs at 2 seed Big Cheese Balls (10-4 cheese), Schmidt, 830AM. Winner stays on Schmidt to play again at 10am; Loser goes to Warren Point to play at 10am.

6 seed Mavens at 3 seed Parkway (5-2 mavens), Warren Point, 830AM. Winner moves to Schmidt to play again at 10am; Loser stays on Warren Point to play at 10am.

5 seed Bentchers at 4 seed Los Caribenos (7-6 bentchers), TJ, 830am. Winner stays on TJ to play at 1 seed Noshers at 10am; Loser moves to loser bracket and plays on 7/19.

Schmidt 10am has winners bracket game (12-2 cheese); Warren Point 10am has losers bracket game. (7-1 seadogs)

 

THE 2026 REGULAR SEASON IS COMPLETE. 

 

League Specific Rules:

1                No new inning starts after 1 hour, 20 minutes from game start time recorded by umpire. No time limit in playoffs.

2                3 fair bunts per team per game. No extra bunts for extra innings. If you square and then swing away, this is an automatic out and player is ejected.

3                Mercy Rules: 15 run difference after 5 innings, 10 runs after 6 innings.

4                Extra innings are only within the time limits of the game. 8^tl inning plays as normal; 9^th inning starts with last batted out on second base.

5                Batting order can have up to 14 batters.

6                You must have a minimum of 8 players to start a game. If you start with 8, the 9^th batter is an out, no exceptions. If you are waiting for a 9^th or 10^th batter to arrive, you can take an out in that batting spot to hold the spot for their arrival. If you do not take the out, they cannot be added into the lineup and must be a substation instead.

7                Base runners can leave on the release. No stealing. Throwbacks to the base are a force play. On an overthrow, runner can tag up and advance at own risk.

8                Courtesy runners are allowed; must be last batted out. Must be designated at beginning of game and cannot switch back and forth. Only exception is in-game injury.

9                After week 1 , if a batter does not have a matching uniform, they must start with a strike, no exceptions. The last week of the regular season is designated as "throwback week" and is the only time a player can wear a different jersey from a prior iteration of your team. If the jersey does not meet these criteria, batter starts with a strike.

10            Runners must slide or avoid for a play at a base or the plate. At first base, the runner must use the orange bag for a play at first base; can use white bag if rounding. Fielders and catcher must not block the path of the base runner if there is no incoming throw.

 

2026 Playoff seedings are based on Winning %, followed by total wins.

Tiebreakers - first tiebreaker is head-to-head, second is head-to-head run differential, third is total runs against 

A division tournament is single elimination until the semis & finals, which is best out of 3.

     Top 2 Teams receive a bye.

     8 seed at 5 seed, 7 seed at 6 seed to play-in.

     3rd seed home against lowest remaining seed. (will not play 5 if 5 wins).

     4th seed home against highest remaining seed. (will not play 8 if 8 wins).

B division tournament is double elimination.
