Welcome to the home page of the Flyers Recreational Ice Hockey Club. The Flyers are a recreational team based in the West of Scotland at the Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, Saltcoats Road, Stevenston, North Ayrshire, KA20 3JR, which is situated to the left of Auchenharvie Academy. We were previously based at the Magnum Leisure Centre in Irvine which closed its ice facilites in April 2011.

The team train and play home games at the Auchenharvie Ice Rink, Stevenson as well as travelling for away games. Please check the Schedules and Calendar pages for further details. If you are interested in joining us, please use the Contact Us page on this site. As members of Scottish Ice Hockey - Recreational Section we abide by their rules. We train and play in accordance with the 'non deliberate' contact rule but allow slap shots and other normal hockey practises. Although during training sessions we adopt a NO slap shots rule. All players taking to the ice must be fully kitted in accordance with our insurance requirements.
