FO5SL - Fairfax Over-50 Soccer League

 Welcome to the website for the Fairfax Over-50 Soccer League (FO5SL). 

Now entering our 13th year! 

That's FO5SL, not "FOSSIL". 😁

We are based in northern Virginia and are dedicated to providing the opportunity to play the beautiful game to players over the age of 50.

We strive to play a competitively balanced game with sufficient player restraint that allows us all to go to work the next morning.

We play full-field 11 v 11 with paid licensed referees.  Outside.  Year Round.  Yes, during the Winter also.

We are always adding teams and players.

If you are over 50 or if you turn 50 during 2024 you are eligible to play.  Winter 2023-24 permit season we have permits for:

Braddock Park, Centreville High practice field, EC Lawrence #2 and Poplar Tree #2.  Click the location of the games listed on the Welcome page for more details.

We are also playing our inaugural Over 60 Division this season.  If you are over 60 or if you turn 60 during 2024 you are eligible to play.  

We use fields with an artificial surface and lighting for night games.

Player dues cover the costs of the fields, professional referees, and other expenses.

The dues are paid to your team captain and usually come to under $6/game. 

Fees are subject to change as costs change.
