Concord High School Girls Varsity Hockey Team

The CHS Girls Hockey Team (18-2-0)

  NHIAA  State Champions

We All Thank-you for an Amazing Season

Congratulations to Joanna Dustin

being named

Concord Monitor Player of the Season Girls Hockey

(The article from the monitor)

When the game meant the most Dustin was at her best. The junior forward had nine points in six games at the end of the regular season as the Tide closed with a four game winning streak to earn the top seed in the D-1 Tournament. She then tallied three goals and an assist in two playoff games including the opening goal in Concord's 4-3 win that ended Hanover's 10 year run as state champs and sent theTide to its first final since 2008. Concord (18-2-0) was scheduled to play #2 Berlin-Gorham in the final, a team the Tide had beaten twice in regular sea.son. But the season was cancelled due to Covid19  and the NHIAA named the two teams Co-Champions. Dustin finished with 23 goals and 13 assists in 20 games and was a first team All State D-1 selection.

"Joanna was absolutely nails for us this this season, She leads by example and always raises her game when the stakes get higher. she is always a threat on the the ice because she never stops working" Coach Pat McDonough said. As a staff we know how hard she's worked, shooting pucks after practice and putting in the extra work away from the ice.
