HOME OF THE HAMBURG AREA YOUTH SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION

Hamburg Area Girls Athletic Association is an organization dedicated to introducing the game of softball to young ladies in our community and allowing them to experience the enriching experience of competition and being part of a team.

Registration for the Spring 2026 season is now open.

Hamburg Area Youth Softball is open to any child in the Hamburg Area School District who is 5-12 years old as of January 1, 2026. HAGAA offers the following levels of play based on age groups:

6U – 5 & 6 years old as of 1/1/2026
8U – 7 & 8 years old as of 1/1/2026
10U – 9 & 10 years old as of 1/1/2026
12U – 11 & 12 years old as of 1/1/2026

Players who are 12 on January 1, 2026 and are in 7th grade for the 2025/2026 school year are eligible to register to play 12U. Players that are rostered to play Middle School softball will not be eligible to register for 12U. We do allow the following exceptions: 1) HAGAA is short players to fill the 12U roster; 2) Player was cut from the Middle School team.

Registration fee is $45 for 6U and 8U and $75 for 10U and 12U.

To register:

· Print a Mail-in registration form from our website and mail the form, payment, and a copy of your child’s birth certificate (first year players only) to our P.O. Box. Printable forms can be found under Forms/Handouts.

· Complete the online Google Form:

Payment and a copy of a birth certificate, for first year players, must be received by end of registration for your daughter to be registered.

Deadline to register is January 11, 2026.

November 11th (election of board members) - 6:30 - Tilden Elementary School cafeteria

December 9th - 6:30 - Tilden Elementary School cafeteria

January 6th - 6:30 - Tilden Elementary School cafeteria

February - TBD

March - TBD (The March meeting is a mandatory meeting for ALL coaches.)

It is important that parents and other family members attend the monthly meetings. We are in need of volunteers, not only for coaching, but also to assist with the operations of the organization. Parent / guardian involvement is key to the success of our players and the organization.

Volunteer Clearances

All Coaches (Head and Assistant) are required to have their Child Abuse and Criminal Background Clearances. Click on the links below to obtain your volunteer clearances. Once you have the certificates, please give copies to the HAGAA Board President or email them to hagaasoftball@gmail.com or you can also mail them to HAGAA - P.O. 291, Hamburg, PA 19526.
