The Knights put together two solid games this weekend, winning a pair of games by the ten run rule. Friday night they defeated the Osceola Braves 10-0, and capped off the regular season with a Saturday night win over the Haugen Hornets by a score of 13-3.

The two wins bumped their record to .500 in the Indy League at 6-6, good for third place.  After a bumpy 2-5 start to the season, Haugen was able to right the ship a bit and win four of the last five down the stretch to finish behind Spooner (11-1) and Hayward (7-4).

Thursday, August 1st is the WBA seeding meeting where the playoff bracket will be set and teams get a first glimpse at their potential paths to Menomonie, site of the 2019 WBA State Tournament.  Haugen is one of four (Spooner, Altoona, Rib Lake) semi-final sites for the opening round of the playoffs August 9-11.
