2018 Teams Posted

The coaches of the Haverford Heat appreciate all the players who attended our tryout sessions. Picking a team is never easy and we want to assure you that much deliberation went in to choosing these teams. Congratulations to all of those who were chosen for this year's teams. We look forward to working with each of you towards having successful 2018 Legion baseball seasons.

For those of you who did not get a roster spot this year, we also wish you successful baseball seasons on your school teams as well as with any other teams you play with this summer. Please remember that our rosters change every year and consider trying out again next year.

This year's rosters can be located by going to the team/rosters drop down site and choosing either Preps, Sandlots or Juniors(Youth). The Senior team will be announced in early spring

2017 Heat Season Wrapup

The 2017 season was a very successful one for Haverford Heat as all three of our teams made it to their league finals.

The Prep team rode a late season winning streak to reach the Delmont League playoff finals before losing to Whitemarsh who advanced to the state tournament.

Our Sandlot team reached the finals of the MainLine league. While they lost a one run game to Taney in the finals, both teams advanced to the state tournament. Ultimately the Heat were again stopped from advancing by Taney in another one run game in both team's second round game at Devon Prep.

The Junior team made Haverford Heat history by not only winning the MainLine Junior championship, but also advancing to the state regional tournament in Schillington where they turned in strong performances in their three games there.

We are hoping to build on all of the teams strong performances next year as well as hopefully reviving our Senior program after a one year absence. Tryouts are typically held in January and February and dates will be posted on our website in December.
