2018 Fall Ball Registration Now Open

Havertown Little League (HTLL) is pleased to announce that they will be hosting Fall Ball this season each Sunday afternoon from September 9th to October 28th at a cost of $40 per child.

We plan on hosting a Minors program, ages 8,9, and 10 (ages based on 2018 season) up on the Minors field from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Minors program will run as a baseball clinic teaching the children fundamental baseball skills. It is our hope to instill in each player a foundation of baseball skills that they can build from in the years ahead. Depending on the numbers and time available, there may be games to implement what has been taught under game like situations.

We will also be hosting a Majors program, ages 10 and 11 (ages based on 2018 season) down on the Majors field. Each week a Major League Team will host the children teaching them a specific skill followed by a game. Expect that the program will run from 1:00 to 3:30 each Sunday.

2018 Bat Standards - Important Information

As many of you may have heard, effective on January 1, 2018, Little League Baseball® will adhere to the new USABat standard. No bats previously approved for use in Little League Play will be permitted to be used in any Little League game or practice, or other Little League function, event, or activity.

The new bats are expected to be on sale starting in September 2017 and will be stamped with the “USA Baseball” logo like the one below.  Please be careful and do not purchase a bat with the “1.15 BPF” stamp, as these bats will not be permitted starting January 1, 2018.  Please Note:  these new bat standards to NOT apply to Fall Ball 2017.

Provided below are two links from the Little League website that should be able to answer most question you may have.  If you have additional questions please feel free to contact  Mark Strohecker (mstrohecker1@verizon.net) and we will attempt to answer your questions.
