| 1. All games played at Josey Field |

| 2. Based on the number of teams, each will play weekly with each team receiving one bye |

| 3. In most cases, rainout decisions will be made by 3:30pm |

| 4. For inclement weather after 3:30pm, umpires will make the final call if games will continue |

| 5. Umpires are USA Softball certified under the Conroe District, Conroe TX |

6. The governing body of HASA (Huntsville Adult Softball Association) is USA
Softball, with some modifications for Huntsville league play

| 7. Any player ejected from the game is subject to a 2 game suspension |
|
|
|
|
8. All equipment used (bats and balls) must be USA Softball approved. Balls must
have a coefficient of restitution of .440 or less and a compression of 375.0 or less. Beginning in the Fall 2024, the league will move to a .400 COR ball with a compression of 350.0 or less. This new change is for player safety.

| 9. Run Rule or mercy rule is 15 runs after 3 innings and 10 after 5 innings |

| 10. One pinch runner per inning max |

| 11. There is a 3 home run limit with the one up rule in play (home runs that clear the fence) |

| 12. All participants must be 20 years of age or older. THIS IS NEW FOR 2023. In previous years, it was 19 years of age. |

| 13. Team uniforms are not required for league play |

|

14. Teams may "pick-up" a maximum of 2 players when caught in a pinch. More
than 2 players requires the permission of the opposing team. No "pick-ups"
during the playoffs

15. Team manager should submit line-ups to the scorekeeper no less than 5 minutes
prior to the start of the game

|
|
16. ALL Josey Field participants and spectators must follow all posted rules, set
by the City of Huntsville
|
|
|
|
17. Players and spectators are asked to NOT park at the Potato Shack (there may
be exceptions for paying customers)
|
|
