2026 HWAC Swim Team Registration Info

REGISTRATION DATES

1. Returning swimmers priority registration: Priority through March 1, 2026
2. New HW/RO-Section families: BEGINS Monday, March 2, 2026 at 8:00 am
3. New Berkley School District Non-Resident Swimmers: BEGINS Monday, March 16, 2026 at 8:00 am

Cost

• Huntington Woods residents: $331 = $301 registration fee + $30 team fee 
• Non-resident/Berkley School District: $411 = $301 registration fee + 10% surcharge + $50 facility fee + $30 team fee
• Each additional non-resident swimmer: $361=  $301 + 10% surcharge + $30 team fee

Other Notes

• Returning swimmers registering after March 1, 2026 will be slated as new swimmers, as space is available
• New swimmers: Registration is first come, first served
• Register online:
  • You must have a household account established in the Rec Center system in order to register
  • If you have not registered for a Rec Center activity within the past 5 years, please complete and submit the Household Information Form (HHIF) to hwrec@hwmi.org 
  • After verification of your household, your account will be created, and a temporary password will be emailed to you for online registration.
  • The completed HHIF can also be brought to the Rec Center for in-person registration.
  • For best results, please have your household account set up prior to registration opening day.

LIMITED OPENINGS: Registration closes when the team reaches capacity, at which point waitlists will be maintained by age group. Anyone registering after the team has been filled will be placed on a waitlist. Coaches determine if they can accept swimmers off the waitlist in particular age groups. Swimmers are eligible to receive a refund if requested by May 23, less a $10 administrative fee.

6/18 Home vs. WAC

6/22 Away @ BVSC

6/25 Home vs. WHSC

6/29 Home vs. BHAC

7/6 Away @ HHSC

7/9 Away @ PR

Mini meets:

8 & under mini meet: 6/13 @ WAC

9-10 mini meet: 6/27 @ FGAC

11 & up mini meet: 6/20 @ BHAC

Finals:

B finals: 7/18 @ BHSAT

A finals: 7/25 & 7/26 @ BWRA

Beginning Monday 7/29, the HWAC Email address  will be monitored less frequently. Please  know that your emails will receive a response accordingly.
