VERY IMPORTANT. Dear LeagueLineup Subscriber,

We heard from many of you following our initial announcement, and we want to make sure you have the time you need to plan your transition. As a result, we are extending the retirement date to August 31, 2026.

We will communicate more details on next steps in advance of the date when LeagueLineup is no longer available.  As we are looking for another site.

PITCHING:

WE ARE A MODIFIED PITCHING LEAGUE, BOWLING MOTION, NO SLING, NO SNAPPING WRIST.  PITCHERS CALLED ILLEGAL 2 TIMES IN A GAME WILL BE REMOVED AS A PITCHER FOR THAT GAME.  A PITCHER CALLED ILLEGAL IN 2 GAMES WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON, INCLUDING PLAYOFFS. 

• Pitcher must have 1 foot on the pitching rubber at ALL TIMES.
• Pitcher can rock back as long he is ALWAYS in contact with the pitching rubber.
• Game time limit - 1 hour 25 minutes from start of game.
  • GAME MUST BE PLAYED UNTIL IT IS OFFICIAL, MUST COMPLETE INNING IF HOME TEAM IS LOSING
• Teams are to have jerseys. No 2 players can have the same number.
• A Player without a jersey after week 3 will begin each at bat with a strike.
• New ball to be used top and bottom of the first.
• Player thrown out will be suspended the next game.
• If a team refuses to share their bat, that bat is to be removed from play for the day.
• Lineups sheets are to be used. Umpires will take a photo.

All teams are responsible for bases. In regular season if you do not have bases. Your team forfiets choice for that day. In the playoffs, if higher seed does not have bases, the lower seed will be home team for 1st and 2nd games.

Bats - teams are to look over the other team's bats before day begins.  Note: if almost all batters use the same bat, the other team can request to use that bat too.  If team refuses, umpires will pull that bat for the day. 

All teams are being handed scorebooks. 

It is the team's responsibility, not the League's responsibility, to prove playoff eligibility. 

- 20 year old bats are allowed

- NO ALTERED, NON ASA/USA, NO SENIOR OR SHAVED BATS ARE ALLOWED IN OUR LEAGUE!!!

- ASA/USA SITE HAS THE BANNED BAT LIST ON THE ASA SITE

- ANY BAT NOT ON THE BANNED LIST IS LEGAL. 

- A LIST CAN ALSO BE EMAILED TO YOU, CONTACT US.

A player caught with an illegal bat will be suspended.  If there was a hit, it will revert to an out.  If less than two outs, all runners revert to the base they held at the beginning of the play.

DO NOT USE ILLEGAL BATS!!!!!!

- GOLD or CORKER LABELED SOFTBALLS ARE NOT ALLOWED!!!

THIS IS NO JOKE !!!!!!

PARKS DEPARTMENT IS STRICTLY ENFORCING NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND, NO LOUD MUSIC, NO MOTORCYCLES/BIKES, NO GARBAGE LEFT BEHIND.

WE WILL LOSE PERMITS.  NYC LAW - NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND

As always, in case it rains before Sunday, we require teams to bring equipment to help fill in BATTERS BOX and PITCHERS MOUND.  

We work hard getting the water off the fields, but we need help.

TEAMS MUST BRING RAKES, SHOVELS AND BUCKETS TO THE FIELD.  THANK YOU.

If you need bases, you can purchase a set, contact Michael.  Too many teams are not bringing them to the field.

If there is a one umpire game, each team umpire fee will be $90 per team.
