Welcome to our team!

Operating a successful basketball program is a team effort.  While the coaches work with the girls on their individual and team fundamentals, players are working hard both on and off the court to meet the high expectations of our scholastic sports program.  In efforts to fully give parents the full explanation of our expectations for this season, we are calling a mandatory parent meeting for all players at the Frank Johnson Gymnasium Practice Site.  During this time we will explain registration fees, distribute seasonal game and practice schedules, team expectations, and donation scheduling for team snacks and water / thirst quenchers.  

We will discuss venue locations and tournament protocol as well as sportsmanship for everyone. It is our goal to have a close relationship with our team that spreads support to the classroom and inevitably to their homes.  We are building leaders and our girls will be held accountable for their decisions made outside of the gym.  We ask for your full support as we focus on developing a strong program here at Cirrus. Practices will be intense and scholars are required to maintain a 3.0 average to participate.  We will communicate with teachers about behavior,  grades / remediation needs and work hard with our players to keep them on track.  With the support of team parents and Cirrus Administration, great things are possible.  

If you are unable to attend this meeting as scheduled, please let me know immediately so that we may schedule a one on one schedule with one of our coaches to formally go over the information you may have missed and address any questions or concerns you may have.
