About Us

LG Braves Youth Football & Cheer, Inc is a nonprofit organization that's affiliated with the Polk County Youth Football Conference.  Our league is made up of 5 divisions: Flags, Pee Wees, Middles, Juniors, & Seniors.  Our cheerleaders and football players can start as young as the age of 4 and continue with our league until they're 14 years old.  Our home field is Lake Gibson High School Stadium and we travel to other venues within the Polk County area throughout the season.  All regular season games are played on Saturdays, starting at 9am with our Flag teams and continue consecutively throughout the day.  Our coaches are all adult volunteers who are certified annually through NAYS (National Alliance for Youth Sports) and also pass annual background checks. Being a community based league, our goal is to promote interest, strengthen skills, and build character in all our participants for years to come.
