St. Jude Cancer Community Service
Thank you to all our Liberty Girls Volleyball and Football team that volunteered their time to give back to our community this past Saturday at the St. Jude's Walk-Run Event. We had a great turnout and impressed the event coordinators. Great job to our players and parents. Let's do it again next year!
RULE 11 Very Important!
There will not be equal playing time. COACHES DETERMINE who plays based on performance in practices and games. If there is ever a question about playing time or position, make an appointment at an appropriate time. The first line of communication is to be between players and coaches!! The next step is for parents to talk to coaches, then parents to talk to the Athletic Director. There will be no discussion that does not begin without a player first talking to a coach. Players and parents are to respect coaching decisions and not UNDERMINE the volleyball program with comments in the stands, on the bench, or in practices. Parents and their child are to be honest and open with one another so there are no misunderstanding about why decisions are being made for practices and games on a regular basis.
Would Be Nice
First off We want to thank all the participants for taking part and making our first ever Snap-Raiser a success. Our goal was to raise $5,500. With just 64% of our girls taking part we raised a total of $5,879.00. At 64% participation we keep 70% of the total. This sure beats washing cars on Saturday's! I want to give a shout out to the all the players and parents especially the Bernales, Okison's, Furtado's, Slater's, Emmons and the McCarthy's for going above and beyond.
