Important 2020 Season Update

It is with great regret and upset that we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the 2020 baseball season.   This decision has come with lots of thought and discussion; and the health and safety of our players is and always will be our first priority.

We have two options for those of you who have already registered your child AND paid for the registration;

1.       We can refund you the registration fee for the 2020 season via refund by method of payment

OR

2.       We can hold on to your registration payment and use it for payment for the 2021 season.  This would ensure that you would not be subject to paying any possible registration fee increase.

We are hoping that as the Covid-19 situation plays out, we may be able to open the diamonds in the future for some different ideas for baseball this year, that would be age/division specific and would be run as a drop-in baseball night.

We have sent our emails to everyone who has currently paid for the 2020 season with the information above.  If you could please reply to the email and let us know which option you'd like to proceed with.   For those wishing a refund, please give us some time to process everything.  We will send emails again to those of you who requested refunds letting you know it has been completed.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding with this difficult decision.

Registration Update

We have had to cancel the remainder of the in-person registration dates due to the Covid-19 virus.  We are implementing an e-transfer option for those that cannot pay online with a credit card.

Steps:

1. Register Online at http://mmsa.goalline.ca/event-search.php and choose not to pay online
2. Send an e-transfer with the funds to mahoneybaseball@hotmail.com
3. In the message section of the e-transfer, please include your child's name so that we know which child the payment is for.  If you are paying for more than 1 child at a time, please include all names in the message option.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us!

Baseball is still on track to begin after the Victoria Day long weekend, unless we are advised otherwise.

Stay safe, Stay healthy!

Baseball Update

IMPORTANT BASEBALL UPDATE

We have received word from Baseball Ontario and as of 11:59 tonight all baseball activities will be suspended until April 3rd. This includes in person registration and meetings. Our season shouldn't have any delays tho so please register online and remember you can still register online and pay in person at a later date

Further to the email below sent earlier today, for local and affiliated associations that obtain insurance through Baseball Ontario, any baseball activities conducted as of 11:59pm tonight and until Baseball Ontario lifts the suspension will not be sanctioned, and therefore not covered by insurance.

Any groups that are traveling outside of Ontario should return home as soon as practical. In the meantime, those groups should follow steps and advice from public health authorities to keep themselves safe in their circumstances.

To the Baseball Ontario Community (March 15, 2020),
