The Malden Police Softball Team has won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Police & Fire Games in NYC. A team comprised from a 100 man department played exceptionally well and kept pace with the larger Police & Fire departments from New York City.

To build an organization that develops friendships for life. To provide our Police Officers with the opportunity to participate in worthwhile events that give them a break from the everyday stresses of police work. To maintain an organization that people can be proud in which to participate and others will respect. Lastly, and most importantly, to raise awareness and honor the memory of fallen Police Officers that too often fade with time, and raise funds for those Police Officer's families and related charities.
