Congratulations, Middle Creek!

Middle Creek captured the American League playoff championship in a winner-take-all game 5 on Monday, Aug. 25, downing defending champion Erb Mennonite Red 15-9 to avenge last year's loss in the finals. This marks Middle Creek's (21-10) first title since a run of four straight that ended in 2001. For Erb Red (23-9), this was its 11th consecutive appearance in the finals. To find all of this year's playoff results, look under the "Pages" dropdown menu above or click here.

Congratulations, Chiques Blue!

Chiques Blue completed a three-game sweep of Manheim BIC Black on Thursday, Aug. 21, capping a 7-0 run in the playoffs en route to winning the National League championship. The undefeated run coincided with Chiques Blue's nine straight wins to end the regular season, giving them a 16-game winning streak to finish the season after starting the year 5-8! This is the first championship for Chiques Blue (21-8). For Manheim BIC Black (17-14), they were making their first appearance in a championship game as well and had survived two winner-take-all games in previous rounds to advance to the finals.
