Cameron Watts selected to the USA Relay Pool
MSI Sprinter Cameron Watts has been added to the USA Mix 4x100m Relay Pool. Coach Marcus Bell received the email recently to inform the up and coming sprinter that he had been selected. "I thought it was a scam!", said Watts when he received the email from USATF High Performance Team General Manager Wallace Spearmon. Watts will be performing as part of 2 USA Relays at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, FL on April 4th. "This is a great opportunity for him to be part of so early in his career.", said Coach Bell. He is on his way to being a great sprinter for this country.
Cameron Watts confirmed for the USATF Indoor Championships
Sprinter Cameron Watts has declared and confirmed that he will be competing in the 60m at the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships. Watts was a automatic qualifier in the 60m with a time of 6.59. The semi-final / final rounds will start on March 1st. Let's cheer him on.
Watts leaves Don Kirby with the win
MSI Sprinter Cameron Watts continued his winning streak for another week. Watts notched his second straight victory at the Don Kirby Invitational in the 60m Invitational. He started off in the prelims running his PR time 6.64, securing 3rd place overall and a spot in the 60m final. In the final Watts did not disappoint the audience at his alma mater when he stormed to the the victory and a brand new PR of 6.59. The next stop for Cameron will be the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships in Staten Island, NY on March 1st.
Watts takes the Victory at the Charlie Thomas Invitational
MSI Sprinter Cameron Watts cruised to an amazing victory at the Charlie Thomas Invitational @ Texas A&M University. Watts was competing in the Olympic Development 60m which contained some 2024 olympians from Ghana, South Africa, and USA. He opened in the prelims with a victory in his heat in a time of 6.68 (The top time in the preliminary round). Watts then equaled his current PR of 6.64 to claim the victory in the Olympic Development 60m Final. Cameron's next competition will be the Don Kirby Invitational in New Mexico next Saturday.
MSI Sprinters Jones and Watts invited to The Knights of Columbus Games
MSI sprinters Jaheim Jones and Cameron Watts has been invited to run the 50m and 60m in the Knight of Columbus Games in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This will be the 2 athlete's first official professional track meet. I am very excited for both of the guys to experience the new way of treatment of professional athletes. I look forward to seeing them do well.
MSI welcome All-Mountain West Conference Sprinter
Metaphoric Speed International is proud to welcome elite sprinter Cameron Watts. Watts come to MSI with a load of potential and talent for the 100m. Cameron has taken the NCAA world by storm in his first and only year of running track & field as a sprinter. He was the 2025 Mountain West Conference 60m Champion and he is also the 2025 Mountain West Conference 100m Champion. " I am looking forward to working with Coach Bell, He has the experience to get me to the Olympics and the World Championships.", said Watts. He comes to MSI with PR's: 60m: 6.64 100m: 10.05.
MSI welcomes Jamaican sprinters Shockoria Wallace and Jaheim Jones
Metaphoric Speed International is proud to announce the signing of Jamaican sprinters Shockoria Wallace and Jaheim Jones to the pro elite training group. Jones joins the group after a stellar collegiate career at Kent State University. He is the 2025 Mid-American Conference 60m, 100m, and 200m Champion, 2024 Mid-American Conference 100m and 200m Champion. He is also the 2025 and 2024 Mid-American Conference Male Track Athlete of the Year. Jones has PR's of: 100m: 9.98 200m: 20.32. Wallace come to the family as a seasoned veteran athlete. She has been a 100m finalist in the Jamaican National Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She has PR's of 60m: 7.22 100m: 11.09 200m: 23.67
Bush to compete at The Ed Murphey Classic
MSI Sprinter Dakarai has been invited to compete in 2025 Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis, TN. Bush will be competing in the 400m in the World Athletics Bronze Continental Metting on July 12th.
Dakarai Bush invited to the 2025 Miramar Invitational
Sprinter Dakarai Bush has been invited to compete in The 2025 Miramar Grand Prix. Bush will be running in the event's inaugural 300m. The World Athletics Silver Continental Meeting will be on April 5, 2025 in Miramar, FL and will be televised locally, and on the website. https://www.miramarinvite.com/
Bush opens up with a PR performance
MSI Sprinter Dakarai Bush opened his season in College Station, TX at The Charlie Thomas Invitational. Bush competed in the 400m and garnered 2nd place overall finish in a time of 46.67. The time was a new short track 400m PR for Bush, and will look to qualify for the USATF Indoor Championships. "I am extremely pleased with my performance today, I not only PR'ed but I got to run against one of my 400m heroes Olympian Will London.", said Bush. Bush's next meet will be next week in Canada at the Harry Jerome Classic.

Moore added to the 100m field at Meeting de la Martinique
MSI Sprinter JaVaughn Moore has accepted an invitation to run the 100m in the Meeting de la Martinique. Moore coming off a perfomance from his opening of 10.17 in the invitational 100m at the Texas Relays. He will be looking to achieve the olympic standard before the meet. "This is another great opportunity to establish him as one of the World's elite sprinters after coming out college last season. ", said head trainer Marcus Bell. The meeting is schedule for May 18, 2024 at the Stade L. Achille in Fort-de-France.
MSI Hurdler Mukhobe sets new Meet Record and Achieves the Olympic Standard
MSI Hurdler Wiseman Were Mukhobe opened his season in Nairobi, Kenya at the Kip Keino Classic this weekend. The 400m hurdler reached two milestones this weekend by winning the 400m hurdles in a time of 48.57, which set a new meet record. The mark also achieves the Olympic standard for Mukhobe. The next stop for him will be 2024 World Relays in Nassau, Bahamas in mid May.
Sprinters Moore & Warner-Savage make the World Ranking List
MSI Sprinters JaVaughn Moore and Sterling Warner-Savage has placed themselves in the top 5 in the world in the 50 meter rankings. In their first professional indoor competition at the KOC Games in Saskatoon, Canada, Moore finished the 50m 3rd overall with a time of 5.76 which placed him #2 in the World Rankings. Meanwhile sprinter Warner-Savage garnered a time of 5.84 in competition to place him at #4 in the World Rankings. Both have already qualified for the USATF Indoor Track & Field Championships for the 60m on February 16-17.

Indiana State All-American Sprinter JaVaughn Moore has signed with Metaphoric Speed International TC. JaVaughn is a 2023 All-American and 11 time All- Missouri Valley Conference selection in the 60m, 100m, and 200m. He has been the MVC Most Outstanding Athlete in 2023, 2022, and 2020, and The MVC Freshman of the Year in 2019. JaVaughn hold the 60m record in the Missouri Valley Conference and Indiana State with a time of 6.56. He also holds the 100m record at Indiana State University with times of 10.06. JaVaughn has PR’s of 60m: 6.56, 100m: 10.06, and 200m: 20.72.
