     The Kincardine Cubs needed extra innings in a rematch of last years finals, but secured the win, succesfully defending their title on Sunday afternoon in Listowel with an 8-6 win.

The Cubs would go 5-0, Defeating Hanover (3-0), Mitchell JR (6-4), and Byron (6-5) in Round-Robin play. In the semi-finals, they defated Lucan 15-5, before an extra-inning thriller in the Finals against Woodstock.

Thank you to host towns of Kincardine and Listowel for another smooth tournament! Best of luck to all teams in OBAs!

  WOODSTOCK --

The Kincardine Cubs are back on top of the MOSBL. 

A 10-1 win over the host Woodstock Nationals club in the finals highlighted a perfect 5-0 weekend tournament. The Cubs beat Mitchell JR (10-8), Listowel (10-0), and Hanover (10-4) in round robin play, before a well played win over Mitchell SR in the semis by a score of 4-1.

The MOSBL title win is their 4th in the last 5 full league seasons!

A big thank you to the hosts, Woodstock and Listowel, for another great league championship weekend! We can't wait to see you all again in 2023 for more local senior baseball!

The Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League is happy to be returning for the 2022 season! After a two year hiatus, baseball will once again return for many of the leagues clubs. Unfortunately, the St. Thomas Cardinals, London Area Angels, and London Jr. Tecumsehs will not be returning from 2019. Listowel will go from fielding both a junior and senior team, to fielding one club primarily made up of junior aged players. Mitchell will be fielding a junior team as well as the senior Astros club. The MOSBL will run an 8 team league for 2022, with a 14 game schedule beginning the weekend of May 13th, and running into the first week of August.

The 2022 MOSBL playoff tournament will take place on the weekend of August 12-14, with all 8 teams taking part in the 2 pool tournament. Tournament sites will be finalized, but will take place in Listowel & Mitchell. The league is also looking into a Woodstock bid to host pool play and the finals on the Sunday. 

We are happy to be back for the 2022 season! See you at the diamond!

After much careful deliberation, the teams within the MOSBL have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 season due to the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic. The MOSBL is hopeful that 2021 brings a return to baseball and strong competition within the league.

The MOSBL is a competitive Senior (21+) baseball league serving the Midwest of Ontario.

a) Head to head results.

b) Number of league wins.

c) If three or more teams are tied, repeat using record with tied teams only.

d) Defensive runs allowed.

e) Coin flip.
