Malvern Community Soccer League

RULES

1a. July 9, 2017 is the deadline for switching teams. That is the start of the second round. If you start with a team, and you do not like that team you CANNOT switch to a different team...You have to either work things out with your original team or sit out and wait for the switch deadline.
1b. If a player is playing with a team and would like to play for another team before the deadline, the team he is going to play for has to pay the league $100.00 before he steps on the field.
1c. Once a player switches from one team to another, he CANNOT switch again, and if he chooses to switch after the deadline, he will have to pay another $100

2. New players are allowed into the league at any time prior to 5 games before playoff starts, and have to register and play the entire next 5 games to be eligible to play in the playoffs.

3. Teams roster consist of 20 players MAX

4. All players have to be in complete team uniform during games, and all shirts need to be in shorts.
5. All players are responsible for their own actions, but in the event of conduct detrimental to one’s physical health, the team will be held responsible.

6. All game will start on time with a 15 minutes grace, and that 15 minutes will be deducted from the total time during the first half of play

7. Teams in default of a game will lose points and will still be responsible for the referee fees for both teams, unless they are unable to fill a team to start (7 Players). This rule is for if the entire team do not show up.

8. Each single yellow is $10. Two yellow cards in the game equals a red card, player will receive 2 games suspension and a $20 fine, one yellow followed with a straight red or one red card equals two games and a $20 fine. Players can buy back one game by paying the $20 + an additional $20, buy will have to sit out one game. Flagrant foul and fighting is a lifetime ban...FINAL!!! Whatever final written information is given by the referees. THAT`S IT!! No Meeting, No Changes!! TEAM MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CARDS and it has to be paid before the start of the following game.

9. Players are expected to respect the referees at all time, and they should know that once a call is made, it will not be overturned....meaning NO swearing at the referees. Also if at any time in any way you put your hand on the referee, you are gone for the entire season…FINAL

10. No alcohol beverages are allowed in or around the soccer field, and NO smoking on the field or around the property. The TCDSB will be clamping down and in the end it will cost the league and everyone in it…The field has to be cleaned by everyone…There MUST be NO garbage left behind.

11. Referees fees are to be paid in advance of all games

12. No fighting, the individual that starts any type of physical altercation will not be allowed to participate in the league. (Banned for life).and if as a result the game ends.. That team will lose points...

13. Park in designated parking space

14. Please take off all jewels during games

15. Whatever garbage you bring to the field, you MUST take it with you when you leave.

16. Game sheet have to be filled out and given to the referees along with the fees prior to the game. Any team past the 15 grace period for any reasons will lose the points

17. The players in the league needs to control their fans and are responsible for the area in which they camp out during our soccer Sundays.

18. All teams will use the far side (near school) of the fields during games...allowing spectators an opportunity to view the game properly and it gives teams a chance to make proper substitutions without any interruptions.

19. At no time is any player allowed to play more than one game in a day....If this happens both teams will be in default (-3 points)

20. Any team that causes a problem during a game regardless how many minutes has played that leads to the ref blowing off the game, the problem team will lose points and the game will NOT be played over

21. If two teams are supposed to play on any given day and both are a NO show, it will be call game played and both teams will receive one (1) point and the referee fees have to be paid

22. If a player receive 3 yellow back to back to back, they will miss one (1) game and $20 will be additional to the $30 fine,

23. Before June 4, 2017, ALL MANAGERS are responsible to make sure the league fees are brought up to date. June 25, 2017, the balance is DUE….If your team does not pay, you will NOT PLAY...SIMPLE…No later, No excuses Period!!!

24. IF a team cancel a game for whatever reason, and it is postponed to a new date, and on that date or before, the other team cannot make it or try to postpone it, BOTH teams will receive the DRAW points.
