Welcome to the home of the Mogadore Wildcats!

Mogadore Youth Baseball & Softball

All practices suspended due to coronavirus

March 13, 2020
The Mogadore Youth Baseball & Softball Board voted tonight to suspend all practices, indoors and outdoors. Today the Ohio Schools Athletic Association (OHSAA) established a "no-contact" period for all school sports. Although our league is not directly affiliated with the OHSAA or school sports programs, we are following their recommendations, effective immediately, because the OHSAA no doubt has been able to glean advice from a variety of both medical and legal experts regarding the coronavirus.
In hopes that the coronavirus outbreak dies down, the softball and baseball board has agreed to consider in the coming weeks how we will handle the baseball and softball tournaments we have scheduled at Lions Park this spring.
We are also working to reschedule the tee ball sign ups at a later date.
We will continue to communicate through our coaches, this Facebook page and our website as we make future scheduling decisions. We haven't taken these decisions lightly and are, as a whole, disappointed to have to make them, but we believe these measures are necessary to maintain the safety of our players, coaches and community. If you have any questions, please contact a board member.
Stay healthy!

Welcome to Mogadore Youth Baseball & Softball

Mogadore Youth Baseball and Softball is a fun recreational program for children age 4 (who play tee ball) through 14. The vast majority of our players are Mogadore Wildcats, and part of our vision is to give players the chance to compete with the same teammates all the way through high school, creating a strong sense of camaraderie and familiarity.

Over the years, our teams have played for their share of league championships, and many teams have participated in travel ball tournaments before and after the regular season. Some of the teams stay together and play fall ball, which isn’t directly affiliated with Mogadore Youth Baseball and Softball but speaks to the strength of the relationships built during season.

Our league would not be possible without the dedication of all our coaches, who give up their weekday evenings and most of their weekends to help our kids develop as players and citizens. Another critical ingredient in our success is our sponsors, which help us control costs so everybody can play, not just those who can afford to.

Let’s play ball!
