 ATTENTION ALL TEAMS PLAYERS AND CAPTAINS:

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

 

Due to increased complaints from our Venues about going over our scheduled time slots, we have no choice but to implement our new protocols To ensure  games  start on time.

1.for example:if you have a game scheduled to start at 8pm you must be ready to play at 8pm sharp!!!

NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

if you need to warm up the court will be available 10 minutes prior to the start of your game!

2. If your team is not available and ready to start at 8pm we will give a 5 minute grace period!

3. After the 5 minute grace period the game clock will start. For every expired minute the team that is ready to play will be awarded 2 points!

Any team who cannot make a scheduled game must give Money League at least 24 HOUR NOTICE for a cancellation . we have gym expenses and obligations to our other teams and it is our responsibility that the league must proceed without interruption.

 

 

from now on any SAME DAY CANCELLATION WILL RESULT IN A FOREFIT LOSS AND A $120 forefit fee for full court and $100 forefit fee for half court.

We hope that all teams and players adhere to these new changes. We have gone out of our way to accomdate everyones needs and now it has backfired on us and put us at risk to lose one of our gym Venues.

 RULE CHANGE FOR 3 on 3 ONLY!!!

The 3 seconds in the key rule has been edited. In order for a offensive team to get a 3 second violation called against them an offensive player must be,

1.in the lane with BOTH feet.

2. Must be below the dotted Arch in the Key.

3. The ball must be cleared past the foul line extended Which makes the offense eligible to shoot legally!

4.the offensive team must have full possession of the ball. Possession is a dribble, hold and pass. If the ball is deflected, fumbled or Interrupted the count will End And Restart when full control is maintained.

Money league Full Court rules:

** be advised there has been some changes.

Each game will be two 20 minute half's running clock with a stop clock in the LAST MINUTE of the

first half and the LAST 2 MINUTES of the second half.

In the Second half and overtime the game clock will also stop on all made baskets inside of 1 Minute.

 

Shot clock:

There will be a 30. second shot clock implemented only in the last 2 minutes of the second half and overtime.

Back court violation is now 8 seconds !!!

 

 

Personal Foul situation:

 

Each player will be Allotted 6 personal fouls before he is disqualified,however if his team does not have a reserve player he may remain in the game with each Ensuing foul to result in 2 shots and possession for the opponent.

 

Team fouls:****NewRule*****

Each team will have a limit of 8 fouls in each half the bonus will result in 2 shots. NO MORE 1and1!!!

 

 **************NEW RULE****************

All fouls under 1 minute of the second half and all overtime periods will be shooting fouls except for offensive fouls!

 

Technical Fouls:**RULE CHANGE**

Will be 1 shot and back to the point of interruption.

 

Flagrant 1-(excessive contact/intentional foul) 2 shots and possession at the point of interruption.

Flagrant 2- offender automatically ejected, plus 2 shots and possession at the point of interruption.

 

Clear path foul- when the offensive player has a clear path to the basket (Which Means Nobody between the offensive player and the basket) , the referee will issue a clear path foul, 2 shots and possession where the foul occurred! 

 

 

Time outs:

Each team will get 4 timeouts per game, 2 full timeouts and 2- twenty second timeout

***Twenty second timeouts are to be advanced to the 28 foot line of the front court.***

 

OVERTIME- all overtime periods  start with a jump ball and will be 2:00 minutes with same structure of 2nd half regulation timing. All team fouls and timeouts will carry over. In addition each team will receive an additional 20 second time out. 

REGULAR SEASON HAS ONLY 1 overtime period if we have a tie after the first overtime period we will begin a second sudden death overtime session with a jump ball at center court. the first team to score a basket or free throw will be the winner!!!

Playoffs overtime will be  standard without the sudden death session!!!

 

Uniform rules:

All players are expected to be in their league issued  shirt. 

 

MERCY RULE: 20 or More points by the 2:00 mark in the second Half!!!!  REGULAR SEASON ONLY!!!

 

Eligibility-

Each team is permitted a maximum of 8 players on their roster. The only players permitted to participate in the playoffs must  be within the 8 player standard and must participate in at least 3 regular season games.

 

All other rule interpretation  will derived from the "NFHS" HIGH SCHOOL federation Rules.

NEW MONEY LEAGUE  3 on 3  RULES

 

Each game will be two - 15 minute half's, running clock with a stop clock in the last 10 seconds of the first half and the last minute of the second half.

 

Shot clock:

There will be a 20. second shot clock implemented only in the LAST MINUTE of the second half and the first minute of overtime.

 

Foul situation:

Each player will be Allotted 6 personal fouls, however if his team does not have a reserve player he may remain in the game.each foul after his 6th foul will result in 1 shot and possession for the opponent.

 

Team fouls:

each tam will be alotted 10 team fouls before the bonus is implemented for the entire game!

 

Technical Fouls:

Will be 1 shot and possession regardless of previous circumstance.

 

Flagrant 1-(excessive contact/Intentional foul) 1 shot and possession 

Flagrant 2- offender automatically ejected, plus 1 shot and possession

Clear Path Foul- (no defensive player between dribbler and basket) 1 shot and possession.

*all flagrant fouls are at the officials discretion.

 Last minute of the game and overtime the referee can "OPT"(referee discretion)to make all Check ins to the player of the defenses choice pending that the player is above the foul line extended. And player below the foul line extended is not eligible to receive a check in.

Time outs:

Each team will get 3 full timeouts per game.

 

****RULE CHANGE***** 

OVERTIME- all overtime periods will be 1:00 minutes with same structure of 2nd half regulation timing. All team fouls  will carry over. In addition each team will receive 1 time out. 

*ONCE TIME HAS EXPIRED  in overtime THE GAME WILL CONTINUE un interrupted and  UNTIMED UNTIL THE NEXT TEAM SCORES A BASKET OR A FREE THROW.

 

 Mercy Rule: 15 points by 2:00 or less and /or 10 points by 1:00 or less. THIS RULE IS FOR THE REGULAR SEASON ONLY!!!

All other rules will be NFHS high school regulation rules.

*All league fees must be paid in full by week 5

*Forfeit fees are $80 to cover both referee and court fees!

*All teams must now be in only  money league shirts for every game, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! any team/players out of money league shirts will be issued IN-direct technical fouls! for each player it will be 1 shot and loss of timeout!!!
