Wanted to give everyone an update on where our Cheyenne Mountain alumni are playing/coaching for the 2026 season.

Class of 2012

Bret Helton:  Played collegiately at the University of Utah.  Was drafted in the 9th round by the Pittsburg Pirates where he played for 4 years in the Pirates organization.  Bret just finished his 4th season pitching for the Party Animals (Savannah Bananas).

Class of 2021

Adam Jackson:  Adam has been named Director of Scouting and Player Development for Crown College in Minnesota.  Adam has been instrumental in coaching CM summer teams for the past 3 seasons.

Class of 2022

Denton Damgaard:  Denton is playing at Missouri S&T (DII) located in Rolla, Missouri.

Connor Frickey:  Connor is playing at Babson College (DIII) located in Needham, Massachusetts.

Class of 2023

Jace Eslinger:  Transferred to San Joaquin Delta (JUCO) located in Stockton, California.  Jace began his college career at Butler University (DI).

Ben Myers:  Ben is playing at Dickinson College (DIII) in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  

Seth Gustafson:  Seth is playing at Colorado Christian University (DII) in Denver.

Mason Aaron:  Mason is playing at Southwestern College (NAIA) in Winfield, Kansas.

Class of 2024

Austin (Ace) Eilmes:  Ace is playing at Wheaton College (DIII) located in Wheaton, Illinois.

Class of 2025

Ryan O'Hearn:  Ryan is playing at California Post Grad located in Palm Springs, California.

Charlie Scofield:  Charlie is playing at Wheaton College (DIII) with CM alum Ace Eilmes, located in Wheaton, Illinois.

Nate Glad:  Nate is playing at Northeastern CC (JUCO) located in Sterling, Colorado.

Jansen Roberts:  Jansen is playing at Crowder CC (JUCO) located in Neosho, Missouri.

Colin Downs:  Colin is playing at Pacific Lutheran (DIII) located in Puyallup, Washington.

Javin Eslinger:  Javin is playing at San Joaquin Delta with his brother Jace (JUCO), located in Stockton, California.

The pre-season workouts will start on Tuesday, January 20th.  We will be in the field house 3 days/week for baseball practice, swim and lift after school twice/week.  Please make sure you have warm clothing as the field house is NOT heated.  When the weather presents an opportunity to go outside, we wil do so, so make sure you have adequate clothing.  The focus for our pre-season program is to make sure our arms are in shape for the season and that our pitchers are game ready by season start.  Also, catchers are an integral part in making sure our bullpens are thrown in our daily practices.  It's also a great time to get your legs under you for catching and receiving.  Groups will be divided up after sign-ups in early January.  Cost of the pre-season program is $100.   Cash/Checks made payable to Indians Baseball.
