We're a little less than a month away from our season ending league basketball tournament. Tournament week begins Feb 16. There will be a play-in game in the boys bracket between the 4th and 5th seeds. This game must be completed by Feb 18. The number 1 and number 2 seeds will host semi-final games on Feb 20. Semifinal games in the girls bracket must be completed by Feb 20.

 

The 3rd place and championship games will be played on Saturday night Feb 22nd at the Mack Gaston Community Center 218 N Fredrick St, Dalton, GA 30721. Doors will open at 6:30PM. Boys and girls 3rd place games will run simultaneously, with a running clock, beginning at 6:50PM. The Boys Championship game will follow the 3rd place games. The night will conclude with the Girls Championship game.

 

Running clock rules for the 3rd place games will have 8 minute quarters. Standard clock rules in the final minute of each half (2nd and 4th quarters). 

 

Championship games will follow the standard clock rules with 6 minute quarters.

 

Admission fee of $5 per adult, $2 adult and $10 per family will be collected.

 

Trophy fee of $20 will need to be collected from each school.

 

We will award Championship, 2nd, and 3rd place team trophies. There will be a boys and girls tournament MVP award. There will be boys and girls team and individual sportsmanship awards.
