Sunday November 10th, 2013;

Sunday night featured a pair of teammates squaring off to shed the rust and prepare for the upcoming tournament on Saturday December 14th, 2013. The duo of John B and Jill P who together make up the "Bad News Beers", battled to a best of five series. Jill took an early 1-0 lead in the series only for John to tie it at a game a piece. They went on to split the next two games to force a deciding game five. It was a close match going down to the wire with both players down to one cup each, but Jill was to strong in the end as she won game five to take the series 3-2.

John falls to 2-3 in exhibition play as Jill starts off at 3-2. Both players are set to play again this coming weekend which could exceed a five game series.

The month is November 2013 yet preperations are under way for the inaugural season of the Northern Beer Pong Association that is set to get underway in May of 2014. The idea was kick started in a spacious hotel room in Niagara Falls Ontario as a close knit group of friends unknowingly started something special. Three nights later and over 200 games played throughout the weekend, two All-Star teams emerged that consisted of three members each. The Pong Stars and Snipes were born and never looked back.

League founder John Bethune developed a concept to host the very first organized Beer Pong league in the Keswick and surrounding areas. The league will play under the "Northern Beer Pong Association" and will consist of a 4 team, 8 player concept. Each team will be coed and will play once a month from May 2014 - September 2014 with the championship weekend taking place in October 2014 on Thanksgiving weekend. There will also be a handful of tournaments from December 2013 onwards that will feature the very best the Northern Beer Pong Association has to offer.

The first event to take place under the direction of the NBPA will be the Guys VS Girls tournament December 14th 2013 that will feature the Snipes VS Pong Stars. First team to win 5 games wins the tournament and will get to hoist the Beer Pong trophy that is currently under construction.
