Our varsity players had a great weekend but  fail short of their goals.  Eighth grade  won their tournament undefeated and played well.

 Our 14U won their second tournament undefeated.  These guys are forming a strong team chemistry.  Our 11th and 12th grade team had many challenges this tournament  with constant changes throughout the game.  We reminded them that we have to continue to play through good and hard situation.  However these guys remain the strongest team in the tournament, despite the results.  So to all be aware we are just starting to HEAT YOU UP!!

  This weekend our teams  competed well, bringing home their championship trophies.  Six and seventh grade (new team, head coach  George Gill)wasted no time on getting their first trophy for this year.   9th and 10th grade went undefeated in the regular tournament  and also brung home their first place trophy.   8th grade  had to forfeit their first game, which would have  automatically put us out of the championship game.  This tournament was very competitive and hard fought.   Our players  continue to gain the interest of scouts and many other organizations(pics of games up soon).  Lets keep heating them up!!

We had a great weekend with our teams!    Our eighth grade team was challenged this weekend, and was able to withstand all challenges and bring home the championship trophy.   Our older team was undefeated going into the championship.   They also played well and brought home their trophy.   Pics of the game and trophies will be up soon.   Thanks teams!!

In the recent tournament in Southern Pines our six and seventh grade made it into the championship game, but  we  unfortunately came in second place but not without a hard fight!! Our ninth grade team played up, 10th grade division and competed well especially in the last game.   Smithfield tournament on 8/16/2014 was a good one and chance to see our team rise to the occasion against some elite teams! Our sixth and seventh in this tournament also came in as runner up, with our ninth grade team still playing up competing well. Thank you parents and friends for your continued support!!!

Our sixth/seventh grade team came in first place in the Tennessee nationals this weekend!!!  Big congratulations to our team, this is a great accomplishment and we are so proud of you!! We went to Tennessee with just one team looking to play in nationals, however, we were asked if we could fill some spots that other teams could not meet.  Our  other players who came for support only were asked to play in those spots and to do their best. They brought home the second place medal for the high school division in this Tennessee nationals!! We were surprised to have such good results, but these guys were focused for these nationals.  As stated early disciplined  players and focused players can achieve their objective as one.   Looking to see all at our next big event. Let's keep HEATING THEM UP!!! Congratulations to coach Robinson and his team who placed first in the fourth grade division.

 Nationals was a good experience to see our kids compete and play with some of the nations best.  This was our first year and we learned a lot from this tournament and will take that learned experience to next years games.  Our 9th grade team was missing some of it's vital pieces but still managed to compete well with 10th grade level teams(played up). Our sixth and seventh grade were amazing, we didn't know how ready they were, but we soon found out how ready they were!  They had the hardest teams in the Tournament and  they competed very well.  After the experience at this tournament, sad to say, like many teams  we will have to make changes with some of our players who didnt exhibit the best discipline and decision making . This will help us be smarter and even more competitive with players who understand opportunities earned and not given. Parents thank you for helping us make this opportunity for our kids to grow and experience their world , coach Outlaw thank you.

Ninth grade didn't have a game this weekend due to cancellation of tournament , however some 8th/9th  graders came to the game and encouraged their sixth/seventh grade teammates. This tournament was  not in order and had teams matched up incorrectly(our 7th graders matched up with 9th graders etc.). In the event that organizations,  the director of  the tournament , and/or teams within that tournament decide to play this way , we will respond accordingly.  This tournament was not a tournament that we will recommend.  Seventh grade came in second place.   Eighth grade was the first team but was unable to play championship because director decided to choose who would play championship game, not going by record of team  (WOW!!) Ninth grade played very well and were very competitive even when faced with too many irregularities! Let's continue to  HEAT THEM UP!!!

Our eight and ninth grade teams are in jeopardy of not participating in nationals.  This will be the last day I can give parents to communicate their participation with their kids, if majority are not able to participate it will be canceled for these teams. Our sixth and seventh grade team is set and will be participating.  The cost for the tournament fee is$48 per player.   The tournament fee must be paid Monday no exception. Parents your involvement in this national tournament is highly recommended for your child's continued success and growth.  I have spoken with your kids and also have spoken with many of the parents, we need to move in a prudent way to ensure our kids participation. I need to hear form all the parents by 7-5-2014 regardless if your child participates or not. Our seventh grade team did very well today. We had a great tournament this weekend.  All teams played very well and brought home medals.  Our 9th grade team continues to excel and play JV and varsity teams very well(9th grade continue to come in first place or second place since the start of this year).  These guys have become very discipline in there game.  Our 6,7 and 8th(8th won all their games)grade are doing extremely well also. This weekend our sixth and seventh grade team played very strong only losing one game! These guys are ballin! Ninth grade team are supercharged! They played up with a team consisting of 11th grade players and 12th grade players only falling short by 5 points!  Which gave them their only loss in tournament! We have a tournament for all teams on 4/26/2014.  This tournament will be in Weldon NC. NC HEAT 6/7 grade team won their first tournament!  They played hard and won all three games.  Our ninth(9) grade team faced very stiff competition and fell short in the championship game by a few points, coming in second place.  Overall our ninth grade are a force to be reckoned with!  Last but not least our tough eighth grade team played well and advanced to the championship game but also fell short of their goal this weekend.  All the teams are doing exceedingly well and coaches are very fortunate to have these student athletes.  Feel free to look at our pictures and thank you to our supporters!!!
