North Hills Varsity Soccer Summer Youth Soccer Camp 2018
Kick Start Your Soccer Skills!
Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 are invited to attend the 2018 North Hills Summer Soccer Camps. Whether your child is new to the game, or has played for years, the NH Varsity coaches and players have soccer skills and activities appropriate for your child.

$35 per child for one camp (includes T-shirt)
$60 per child for both camps (includes 2 T-shirts)
FALL SPORTS PHYSICAL INFORMATION
All athletes trying out for a fall sport MUST have a full physical prior to the first official practice day and/or tryouts. They will need the doctor to complete Section 6 of the PIAA CIPPE Form ( Section 6- PIAA – CIPPE ) and then the parent/guardian will need to complete the Healthy Roster profile and documents which will be sent via email to the contact listed in their PowerSchool account. THIS EMAIL HAS NOT BEEN SENT YET DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES – PLEASE BE PATIENT. However, if you do not have a parent contact email listed in PowerSchool please complete the following survey http://www.nhsd.net/Surveys.aspx .

Coach Jared's Suggested Summer Workout
There is no way you won't be in shape this coming fall season if you follow this!
RECOMMENDED DAILY ROUTINE:
Day 1 (Sunday) Conditioning & Ball work Dribbling and moves
Day 2 (Monday) Sprints and Technical work (technical dribbling and wall work)
Day 3 (Tuesday) Conditioning & Functional Training
Day 4 (Wednesday) OFF/STRETCH DAY - off day ball work, juggling, and core
Day 5 (Thursday) Conditioning & Technical Work
Day 6 (Friday) Sprints & Functional Training
Day 7 (Saturday) OFF/STRETCH DAY - off day ball work, juggling, and core
RULES TO LIVE BY:
1. Regardless of your schedule, you should try to meet the following goals every week:
Conditioning – 3 x’s a week.
Touching a ball – 5-7 x’s a week. Practice can be substituted for ball work.
Functional Training – Twice a week is mandatory
2. Always take two days off to Stretch, Recover and Juggle and do a Core workout. DO NOT ever take consecutive days off.

CONCUSSION TESTING. Middle school and High School students should have a baseline test completed every two years. Typically grades 7, 9 and 11. if you are due for a test this summer schedule with the trainers after June 1.
PHYSICALS are due by the first practice. Anytime after June 1 you may complete a physical for the coming year. The Athletic Office/ Trainers plan for this to be online. More information to follow.

Coach Steigerwald reminds everyone to STAY IN SHAPE OVER THE SUMMER! The team will be running in the RACE for the REC on June 3.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the players to get to know each other better, begin to play together before the official season starts, and grow as a team.While attendance is not a requirement, we need at least 14 players to field a team, and we are limited to 20, so sign up as soon as possible.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 1 - Saturday, August 4 2018
This year, the camp cost has increased to $365, but the North Hills Soccer Parents Association has agreed to subsidize the higher cost, so each player’s cost will remain at $300, the same as last year, and includes training and coaching by college level coaches. Food and lodging are included.
The registration deadline is May 15, 2017, so please register soon using the link below:
