WELCOME TO THE NJABL

Welcome to the online home of the North Jersey Amateur Baseball League (NJABL). The NJABL is an 18 and up all-wood bat baseball league with teams from Bergen, Passaic, Hudson and Rockland (NY) Counties. The goal of the NJABL is to provide an organized and highly competitive environment for current collegiate baseball players, as well as recent graduates and former professional ballplayers. The strength and commitment of our core teams as well as the quality of the athlete competing will allow the league to grow, succeed and be the premier wood bat baseball league of North Jersey. 

Our site is regularly updated. Feel free to surf our team pages and stats pages as well. Individual players interested in joining teams should fill out the league's free agent player inquiry form found on the left tool bar under online forms or else contact the team representative in the town nearest you. Once completed your info will be circulated to all league managers for review.

6 Pitchers shut down Little Ferry

June 26, 2018

The Black Sox had fantastic at bats all night, pushing the opposing pitcher to 20 plus pitches each inning except 1.

Adam Lutick got onbase 3 times while scoring twice and hitting a double.

Nick Decandia had a crucial RBI in the 5th to nail it down. Davon Diab sniped the win.

Dario Polonco worked around 9 hits to strike out 6 over 5 to get the win. Emil Zorilla hit a 3 run homer and Eriq Colon a solo shot.

JoshMiller hit a bomb in the 3rd.

Pounding out 15 hits, the Sox made some bad errors. The 4, 5, 6 hitters went 8 for 12.

Despite being told he doesn't throw hard enough to hurt anyone,Dario Polonco struck out 11 Little Ferry's in 5 innings to slam the

door. Even though the 8 hole for the Devils K'ed 4 times, Acosta again scored twice and hit a triple.


Palmeri Blanks Devils 4-0

June 23, 2018

Matt Palmeri pitched 7 great innings, only allowing 3 hits, striking out 7 in a complete game shutout. Justin Ramos came through

with a late RBI. Kyle Buser hit an absolute rocket 2 run homer in the 6th to seal the deal. Acosta worked a fantastic walk in the 5th.


Colon's Bat/Production in Win Over Paramus 7-2

Black Sox rookie Matt Palmeri went 4.1 innings in his debut striking out 3, and only giving up 2 runs. Eriq Colon came through with

an RBI and run scored late to seal the deal. The leadoff hitter for Paramus had a day, on base 3 times with a triple and a run.

 


A's take Game 1 of the DH

Isaac Seelenfreund picked up the win pitching 5 scoreless innings for the A's. Bip Roberts, Josh Miller, Vito Marichal, and Greg

Sahagian all had multi hit games in the in win. Richard Flynn pitched a complete game for the Devils, while only allowing 2 ERs.


Paramus wins 1-0 over Little ferry

Paramus's Don Hays and Little Ferry's Cj Boyko where locked in a pitchers duel for seven innings. Paramus came out on top scoring a

run in the top of the sixth for the win. Don throw a 3 hitter with 6ks for the win. Cj Boyko throw a 4 hitter in the loss.

 


Little Ferry wins home opener 11-3

Little Ferry new comers Richie Flynn ,Leonel Brito and Anthony D'amico combined to throw 5 shutout inning. Patrick Reitemeyer was 2-3 with 3rbi. Rookie Lucas Leone was 1-3 with 3rbi. Wyckoff's David Cahoon was 1-4 with 2rbi's.


Miletta Grand Slam Lifts Sox Over Wyckoff 7-2

Tommy Giunta battled through 5 innings to pick up the win.  Justin Miletta hit in opposite field grand slam in the 3rd inning to wrap things up.


Sox Swing It, Win Opener 16-8

May 25, 2018

Nate Harmon struck out 9 in 4 innings to start the game. Adam Lutick went 3-4 with 3 RBI's and Eriq Colon and Nick Yannni (first career) went yard with blasts to top the A's.  Mr Reliable Greg the Great came in and ate 7 innings up for Englewood with a warrior performance.
