About Prestige Basketball

Our program is about much more than winning games--it's about the development of athletes and young men & women.  We strive to emphasize GOOD CHARACTER, STRONG DISCIPLINE, and IMPROVEMENT on and off the court--we want to be the best we can be no matter the endeavor.  That holds true for academic achievement, athletic performance, behavior at school and home, and in our relationships with family, friends, and teammates.

As such, every team member must work hard in school, respect his/her parents, teammates, and coaches, and train hard at and outside of practice.  Teammates are family of a sort.  In this regard, they help and encourage each other.  Good sportsmanship is evidence of good character and is shown to teammates and opponents regardless of circumstance.

Prestige players are expected to work hard and improve at their craft—the game of basketball.  Just as a young musician is expected to go to each class and practice their instrument daily, our players must come to all practices and train every day.  A Prestige player's success at the game is measured neither by points scored nor games won; rather improvement.  If every player improves at each practice, training and games, he/she is a success.  When every member of the team succeeds in this manner, the points and the wins come eventually and naturally.
