About

The Richmond Oilers Youth Football and Cheer Organization is one of eighteen franchises of the Fort Bend Youth Football League (FBYFL). Established in 2015, the Oilers is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization dedicated to give back to the community.  The mission of the Oilers is to empower and inspire the youth in the urban community through unity and sportsmanship. The Oilers organization will provide weekly physical activities, as well as positive coaching/teaching of health nutrition to prevent childhood obesity. In addition, we will strive to provide life, developmental, and team building skills for youth.

Summer conditioning Camp and late registration:(late registration fees apply)

June 5-9; 6:30-8:00pm

Regular Registration fees:

Flag(Ages 5/6): $200 per athlete includes uniforms

Tackle(Ages 7 thru 12): $250 per athlete includes uniform  and equipment

Cheer(Ages 4 thru 12): $300 per athlete includes uniforms and cheer shoes

$50.00 deposit is required. Please be sure to bring all health insurance information with you.

Please note this year the League will require to see original birth certificates during weigh in. If you do not have your original birth certificate you can order  from the following links:

AGE AND WEIGHT LIMITS

Age 5-6 ( Flag)  It does not matter what grade they are in, as long as they are 6 on Sept. 1st  FLAG; (no weight restrictions)

 

Age 7-8 ( Freshmen max 120lbs weight)  It does not matter what grade they are in, as long as they are 8 on Sept. 1st they are Freshmen

 

Age 9 ( Sophomores max 140 lbs weight),  It does not matter what grade they are in, as long as they are 9 on Sept. 1st

 

Age 10 (sophomores max 140 lbs weight), if in the 4th grade, and is 10 on Sept. 1st 

 

Age 10 ( Junior max 160 lbs weight) if in 5th or 6th grade, as long as he is 10 on Sept. 1st

 

Age 11 (Junior max 160 lbs weight) if 4 or 5th grade

 

Age 11 (Senior max 200lbs weight) if in 6th grade

 

Age 12 (Senior max 200 lbs weight) no matter what grade they are in all 12-year old must be a senior.  He must be 12 on Sept 1st 

 

All 11 and 12-year-old 6th graders must play seniors!!!  We do not allow13-year-old or 7th graders in FBYFL.  If a child turns 13 after Sept. 1st he is eligible to play.  


REFUND POLICY

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER JUNE 1, NO EXCEPTIONS. IF REQUESTING A REFUND BETWEEN APRIL 1 AND JUNE 1, ALL MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED LESS THE COST OF THE UNIFORM AND A $50 ADMINISTRATION FEE.

 

UNIFORM POLICY

All helmets, shoulder pads and game pants will be turned in at the end of the season. Items are on a rental basis only!
