2017 RAHWAY MEN’S SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE AND ROUND ROBIN CHAMPIONS:  BIG APPLE TICKET

Season: 

Opening day 4/17.  $22.50 per team umpire fee (home team pays $25, away team pays $20 to avoid having to make change).

Home team supplies bases.

New Rule - Forfeits:  In past years we have allowed 1 forfeit, with a second forfeit resulting in removal from the league.  Going forward there will be a zero tolerance for forfeits that are refused to be made up.  If your team has to forfeit a game for unforeseen circumstances it has to be made up.  If it is not made up your team will be removed from the league.

Rescheduling Games:  I will take into account your schedule preferences before making the schedule.  Once the schedule is made official and the season starts, each team will be allowed to reschedule a maximum of 2 games leading up to 3pm on game day if they know they are going to be short players.  After a team reaches 2 reschedules; no additional games will be rescheduled even if the other team agrees to the rescheduling.  When a game has to be changed it effects too many variables in addition to the teams playing (umpires, assigner, field availability, permits, etc.) to allow an unlimited number of schedule changes.       

Fee:  The fee has gone up this year from $320 to $340 due to permit increases

ASA:  $35 per team (it used to be $30)

Assigner Fee:  $4 per game (it used to be $3)

Softballs: $110 for 2 dozen

Field Permit:  $150

Umpires:  $45 per game (it used to be $40.  paid directly to the umpire)
