RSF Sport Texas, Gatorade and Chase Bank along the Texas Storm Womens Basketball Program will host the first installment of the " Space City Women's Basketball" League on Saturday May 7,2011 at the Holt House Boys and Girls Club located at 2411 Canal Street in Downtown Houston.

The league will be a seven-team league and will consist of a eight week season that will include a Saturday SCWBL Championship Event Day on June 25th,2011 starting at 10:00 am with the SCWBL North-South All Star Game at 11:00 AM.

This league will seek more of a competitive format and will be open to any college club teams in the Houston metro area. The concept of the league will be to bring together top talent in the city for developing skills and more networking/fellowship.

You can RSVP your team by April 3,2011 and payment will be due by April 8,2011 with a grace period and final date of April 15,2011. If you cannot put a team in it We will put you on a SCWBL Free Agent List and other players without a team will be developed into the league. Pass this information on to anyone interested.


This will be our first league. Some kinks we will improve as we go. Schedules will be sent on completing of the league April 24,2011.
