Deer (one antlered per year per license/one antlerless with each required license)

Regular Firearms - Nov 30 - Dec 14

Archery - Oct 5 - Nov 16 and Dec 26 - Jan 20

Muzzleloader (Antlerless only) - Oct 19 - 26

Flintlock - Dec 26 - Jan 20

Special Firearms - Oct 24 - 29

 

Turkey (one fall turkey per license year, plus up to two bearded birds in spring season (one per day)

Fall - Nov 5 - Nov 7

Spring (bearded only) - May 2 - May 30 2020  (Youth Hunt on April 25 2020)

 

Bear (one bear per license year)

Regular Firearms - Nov 23 and Nov 25 - 27

Archery (including crossbow) - Oct 5 - Nov 16

Muzzleloader - Oct 19 - 26

Extended Season  Nov 30 - Dec 14

 

Small Game

Squirrel (6 daily, 18 posession) Oct 19 - Nov 29, Dec 16-24, Dec 26 - Feb 29

Our History...

Established in January, 1962, the Springfield Township Farmers' and Sportsmen's Association encourages members of our organization to participate in wildlife and state forest conservation, hunting, fishing and safe firearm handling.  We are located just outside Jacobus, PA in Springfield Township.

 

 

Becoming a Member...

To become a member, completely fill out our application which can be printed from Documents/Forms tab on the left side of this page.  Contact our membership secretary which can be found on our "Contact Info" tab to set up a screening and interview.  Once you have completed your application and screening and submitted your 1st year dues (see By-Laws) and application fee ($50), your application will be presented at our next Board of Directors meeting (held every 2nd Wed of the month).  If approved by the BOD, your application for membership will be announced at the next Membership Open Meeting (held immediately after the BOD meeting).  At the subsequent open meeting, your application will be announced and voted on by the open membership in attendance.  By majority rule, you application will be approved or rejected.
