Starmount hasn't had much luck against Forbush recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Starmount Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Forbush Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Starmount is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Bethany Community on Tuesday. Starmount took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethany Community. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Forbush, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over West Stokes on Monday.

Forbush's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Starmount, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Starmount suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Forbush when the teams last played back in March of 2020. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Starmount was down 3-0.

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Starmount was not quite Bethany Community's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Bethany Community Wolves. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Starmount now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bethany Community, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Starmount will venture away from home to face off against Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethany Community, they will welcome Cornerstone Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cornerstone Charter will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bethany Community surely won't give up without a fight.

Starmount came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the West Stokes Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.

Starmount's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Stokes, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Starmount will square off against East Surry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Stokes, they will challenge Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
