Tryouts for Team Texas Select Basketball

We are looking for competitive players in the 3^rd grade – 10^th grade boys and girls to participate on our teams and in our program.

We are looking for quality student/athletes who are willing to listen, to work and play hard as a team.

Every player and parent must commit to attending practice and games when scheduled. We will build up their basketball IQ. Each and every player that plays with us will get better if they put in the work. Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, a love of what you are doing or learning to do. During January and first 2 weeks in February we wll practice once a week, the 3rd week in February we will practice on Tuesday and Thursday.

Currently we have the following teams but each team need some more players: 

5th grade 11U team

6th grade 12U team

7th grade 13U

8th grade 14U team

9th/10th grade team

We will continue to teach and reinforce good skills and fundamental play. Most importantly team play on both the offensive and defensive end.

If they are not coachable or willing to work hard we do not want them. No playing time is guaranteed, it must be earned in practice.

Cost to Play with Our Select Basketball Club

1.      A uniform fee $150 a home/away set and a shooter shirt

2.      $50 monthly fee. The monthly fee with help off-set the cost of gym fees for practice and tournament entry fees.

3.      The only other cost is when we travel out of town (hotel, meals, and transportation) parent’s will help with Coaches hotel and meals ($25 per player) because they have volunteered their time to help your kids.

We are always looking for volunteers to work our tournaments – concession stand, clock keeper, score keeper, to film games.

Sponsorship opportunities are available because some of our kids cannot afford our program and we do not want any good kid to miss out. Ways you cold sponsor a player
