TWL Wiffle will be adding two more teams for the Winter 2022-2023 Season. Joining the defending champion Pilots, 2021 champion Juice, and Chix with Stix will be new teams Inglorious Batters and Almond Brothers. Lucas Catlett will be captaining the Inglorious Batters and Christian Miranda will be captaining the Almond Brothers. We expect for much more competition by playing with five teams. The Almond Brothers will play their first games against the Pilots on November 2, 2022 and the Inglorious Batters will start their franchise history against the Juice on November 4, 2022. We look forward to the largest season to date in the TWL Wiffle.

The Pilots were victorious over the Juice winning in 5 games of the best of 7 series. The team was led by the always hot bat of team captain Muhammad Tariq and journeymen Brooks Nipp with a somewhat unexpected hot streak. The arms of Muhammad Tariq and Grant Ginalick continued to mow down hitters in the series just as they have all season long. The Pilots win the championship as the first expansion team in history and then went on to win in their first season as a franchise.  

Following an 11-5 season, the Pilots will be battling for a championship in their first season as a team.  Their efforts this year were lead by team captain Muhammad Tariq, veteran player Nelson Caballero-Castro, and rookies Grant Ginalick and Jacob Pryor.  They will be taking on the Juice who were lead by their captain Jared Allen, veteran Lucas Catlett, and rookie Aries Taylor.  We wish both teams luck as they battle for the Summer 2022 Title.

TWL Wiffle is pleased to announced our first expansion team in history. The Pilots will be joining in 2022. Standout player from the 2021 season, Muhammad Tariq will be leaving the 2021 Champion Juice to become the new team captain. Nelson Caballero-Castro will also be leaving the Juice to join the Pilots. Brooks Nipp will be leaving the Chix with Stix to join the Pilots as well. The rest of the team will be players to be announced at a later date. Look to see the Pilots make their debut very soon.
