Parents and Players please note that the OHSAA moved the Baseball season back a week this year, so the state Tournament will be later this year. OHSAA this has added divisions. This year there are Seven Divisions, there has always only been Four Division. Whetstone is Division II this year for the first time since 1995.
1st Round State Tournament Games for DII will be on Saturday May 24th at 2:00 or 5:00 at the higher seeded teams field.
2nd Round State Tournament Games for DII will be on Wednesday May 28th at 5:00 at the higher seeded teams field.
Friday May 2nd-
Varsity- Home Game vs Desales at 5:00. All Swing Players will attend this game.
Pin Stripe Pants, Pin Stripe Jersey, and Blue Hats.
Reserve- Practice 2:45-4:45.
Saturday May 3rd- Off Day For All Whetstone Baseball Players.
Sunday May 4th- Off Day for all Whetstone Baseball Players.
Monday May 5th-
Varsity- At Northland at 5:30, bus leaves at 4:30. Pin Stripe Uniforms, Blue Hat. All Swing Players will attend.
Reserve- Parctice 2:45-5:00.
Tuesday May 6th-
Varsity- Home vs Hamilton Twp at 5:15. White Pants, Blue/White Dri-Fit Jersey and Blue Hats.
Reserve- At Hamilton Twp at 5:15, bus leaves at 4:30 or before. White Pants, Blue/White Dri-Fit Jersey and Blue Hats.

The 2025 Whetstone Varsity team will be making a trip to Cleveland during Spring Break. The team will leave on Thursday April 24th and come back on Saturday April 26th. We will be staying two nights, three days. The team will play Three Games during the trip.

2025 Key Dates:
February 13th- Spring Athletics Parent Meeting at 6:30, this mandatory for baseball players and at least one parent.
February 24th- First day of Baseball Practice. Mandatory if you aren't playing a winter sport.
March 17th-26th- Scrimmages begin.
Saturday March 29th- The 2025 Baseball season starts. The Reserve team will play, the Varsity is off.
Monday March 31st- The Varsity team open the 2025 season.
April 24-26- Varsity Spring Break trip to Cleveland Ohio.
May 28th- Baseball Banquet 6:00-8:00. The banquet will be at the baseball field, if we get rain it will be in the school cafeteria.
