Spring 2020 Online Registration Now OPEN!!!!
Online registration for the Spring 2020 season is now live and open. You can access it at pawest-westmifflinsoccerclub.affinitysoccer.com .
We will hold In person Registrations on Monday evenings from January 20 through March 9 from 6pm-8pm at the Homer Warehouse (1235 Camp Hollow Road, West Mifflin PA 15122) during our WMSC indoor training sessions.
In House program is designed for birth years 2016 -2009. Cost is $60. Kids will be split into 3 age groups based on birth years: U6 (2016-2014) U8 (2013-2012) and U11 (2011-2009). These teams typically practice 1 day a week (as chosen by the volunteer coach) and games are Saturdays between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. Practices for In House teams will start the middle of March and games will start the first weekend of April. The In House program includes an 8 game schedule to be played each saturday (no games Memorial Day Weekend) and will culminate in a season ending tournament.
The travel program is designed for birth years 2012-2001 and provides a more competitive program where kids from the West Mifflin Soccer Club will form teams with like aged players and play like aged players from the surrounding area. Cost is $80. These teams typically practice 2 times a week and games are on Sunday. Practices will start the beginning of March and the first week of games will, more than likely be, the last weekend in march.

Winter Indoor Registration
The West Mifflin Soccer Club will again be hosting a winter training program.
This season we'll be structuring each session a bit differently to ensure that not only are we keeping the kids moving during the winter months, but we want to ensure they are also developing as soccer players.
The cost for the program will again be $50 and the program will run from Monday January 20th through Monday March 9th from 6pm-8pm each week. During that 2 hour block of time, we will break it down into 2, 1 hour sessions. We will split the players in half based on age and the younger kids will be from 6-7 and the older kids will be from 7-8. we will not know where the age cutoff is until we get closer to the start of the sessions and we have an idea of what kids are participating.
Registration will be held during the last 2 weeks of the Fall 2019 season at the soccer complex during In House games on Saturday October 19 and 26th from 9:30 am-11:30 am near the concession stand.
There will be no uniforms necessary for these training sessions. Playing surface is a turf field. Players are expected to wear spikes, shin guards and normal soccer playing clothes and should bring their own soccer ball and water bottle.
New Board Members Announced
At the board meeting on Sunday October 13th, The West Mifflin Soccer Club announced the appointment of 3 additional Board Members who will play an important role in our In House program weekly operation.
Matt Anselmo will be taking over the leadership of club referees. Matt will be looking to elevate our officiating program that will include training, feedback, development and ultimately certification and registered officials. If you have any interest in joining our referee program, please reach out to us via email at TAJ240@hotmail.com and we will ensure that it gets passed along.
Mark and Elaine Bennett are joining the board and will be taking over control of the Concession Stand that has become a huge part of club over the last 3 years.
We are extremely excited to add some great leadership to our group and are confident this will allow the club to continue to provide a great environment for coaches, players and families for our in house program.
Our current board alignment is as follows...
President - Tim Jeffrey
Vice President - Eric Zablocki
Secretary - Michele Marks
Treasurer - Steve Kracinovsky
Registrar - Dave Marks
Director of Coaching - Derek Ross
Equipment Manager - Mike Lazar
Concession Stand - Mark & Elaine Bennett
Director of Officials - Matt Anselmo
At Large - Lisa Hamilton
New Field Designs
In an attempt to maximize field space and provide the best playing surfaces we can, the soccer club has redesigned the layout of the fields at the soccer complex.
Please see the below diagram for more information
As we continue to advance the club in terms of enrollment, we need to continue to advance it in other areas as well.
One of those areas is by drastically increasing our pool of officials for not only out in house program but more specifically our travel program.
As a whole, PAWest is experiencing a severe strain on their pool of certified officials. As a club, we don't do a very good job of supporting their cause of providing certified officials for travel games throughout the region. As we continue to see more and more interest in travel soccer, specifically among our club in particular, we would like to create a group of people who would be interested in becoming an official and officiating games. The immediate desire would be to be available to assist with WMSC travel games but you'd also be able to officiate games for other local clubs as well if you so desired.
These officials are **PAID**, and fairly well. Pay ranges from $25/game to work as a linesman for a U10 travel game to $55/game to be the center referee on the oldest U18/19 games. Many times you'd work 2-3 games per sunday.
There is a Summer certification class on June 30th. Follow the below link for more information
