Damonique Patterson who played with the WV NORTHSTARS from 2012-2013 committed to Wheeling Jesuit out of high school.  She played her freshman year with the Cardinals before taking her talents to D2 West Virginia State University in Institute, WV.  She played her sophomore season with the Yellow Jackets.  She has since withdrawn from the program.  Good luck to Damonique with her future endeavors.  

Monica Bragg who played for the WV NORTHSTARS from 2012-2015 is in her second year at West Liberty University.  As a freshman she scored 119 points leading all freshmen.  At the beginning of this season Monica suffered a spinal nerve injury and is on the road to recovery.   Good luck Monica on your journey back!

Jensen Caretti who played with the WV NORTHSTARS from 2013-2015 participated in 162 minutes for the D1 Ohio State Buckeyes scoring 40 points as a Freshman.  Jensen is the only returning sophomore from last years recruiting class, we are looking for her role to expand.  Good luck Jensen!

Lysaih Rice who played for the WV NORTHSTARS from 2012 - 2015 had a very successful Freshman season for the D1 PITT Track & Field Team.  She had the 3rd best indoor time on the team for the women's 200m at 24.84.  We are excited to see what Lysaih accomplishes in her sophomore season.  Congrats Lysaih!

NORTH STAR Anna DeFilippo is in her second season playing for the Yellow Jackets.  In her Freshman season with D2 Cedarville University she played in 94 minutes and scoring 29 points.  In this early season Anna has already played 39 minutes and scored 16 points.  Good luck Anna!

NORTH STARS guard Marissa Rose completed her Freshman year at D3 Point State Park playing 164 minutes and scoring 92 points. 

NORTH STARS guard Marisa Goodright completed her Freshman year at D3 Wanesburg University participating in 39 minutes and scoring 10 points.

Both girls have since moved on from their respective basketball programs.  Good luck to both in their future endeavors. 

After four exciting seasons and a 76 -28 record the WV NORTH STARS basketball program will be putting away their uniforms for the last time.  We have been blessed with the privilege of coaching some of the best athletes from the Ohio Valley.  Thank you to you and your families for the wonderful memories!
