Registration for Session 2 is Open!

 

The Y-Zone operates two indoor sessions per year. Session 1 begins during the late fall and Session 2 begins after the new year and runs during the winter months.

Steps to Complete Your Team Registration:

 

1. Notify the Y-Zone staff of your interest in participating by submitting your contact information including head coaches name, phone and email address as well as team name to Justin Umbs at jumbs@ncymca.org 

2. Make a $100 deposit to secure your spot ten days prior to the start of the league. Payments can be made in person by stopping at the Y-Zone, through the mail, or over the phone with a credit/debit card.

3. Authorize automatic payments by giving the Y-Zone staff your credit card or banking information. Unless your team pays in full up front, all teams will pay by way of automatic draft. $200 will be drawn from the given account or card weekly for the first 3 weeks of the session. This will give team captains/coaches a few weeks to gather all of the fees from their team.

3. Complete a roster/waiver form which has to be signed by all players and their parents if they are under the age of 18 years old prior to the start of the first game. The roster form is available to print from our website in the left menu by clicking “League Documents.”

4. Coaches must sign the code of conduct that must be submitted prior to the start of the first game.  This document is available to print by clicking “League Documents” in the left menu.

 

 

Indoor Soccer Offerings by Age Group:

Under 6/Intro to Soccer – This is an instructional program focused on development of fundamentals skills for youth ages 4 to 6 years old.  We put our best coaches on our youngest age groups!

Begins: January 12, 2019

Day/Time: Saturdays at 11 am

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: YMCA Family Members $40 / Youth Members $55 / Non-Members $75

 

U8 Coed League – Developmental league focused on development of skills through play for age 6 and 7 years old. Scores and standings are not recorded and this league is coach’s referee. This league plays 4 v 4 without a goalie.

Begins: January 26, 2019

Deposit Due Date: January 15th, 2019

Day/Time:  Saturdays at 8, 9, and 10 am

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: $450/team 

 

Competitive Leagues (Under 10 to Adults) – These are the leagues where game results and standings are recorded. 

When applicable we will also separate the divisions by skill/experience.  For example, a recreational and competitive league.

Please note that days/times are subject to change depending on the amount of teams per age group and field availability.  

U10 Coed League

Begins: January 19, 2019

Deposit Due Date: January 9, 2019

Day/Time:  Saturdays starting at 12pm

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees)

 

U12 Coed League

Begins: January 26, 2019 

Deposit Due Date: January 16, 2019

Day/Time:  Saturdays starting at 4pm

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees)

 

U15 Coed League

Begins: January 18, 2019

Deposit Due Date: January 8, 2019

Day/Time:  Fridays starting at 4pm

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees)

 

High School Boys League

Begins: February 11, 2019

Deposit Due Date: February 1, 2019

Day/Time:  Mondays starting at 5pm

Duration: 8 weeks

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees)

 

High School Girls League

Begins: February 6, 2019

Deposit Due Date: January 31, 2019

Day/Time:  Wednesdays starting at 6pm

Duration: 8 weeks 

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees)

 

Adult Recreational League

Begins: February 10, 2019

Deposit Due Date: February 1, 2019

Day/Time:  Sundays beginning at 3pm

Duration: 8 weeks 

Cost: $780/team (includes referee fees) - $100 Deposit is Required

 

How Do I Sign Up My Son/Daughter if They Don’t Have a Team?

The Y-Zone staff will make an effort to place interested individual players on a pre-registered team. We will compile a list of individual players and make that list available to the appropriate coaches.

If we receive enough individual registrations in one age group we will try to create a team pending an available and suitable coach.  If you are interested playing indoor soccer at the Y-Zone but do not have a team please send an email to Justin Umbs at jumbs@ncymca.org, with the following information:

  • Player's Name
  • Player's Age
  • Parent's Name
  • Parent's Contact Information (phone and email)
  • Player's Years of Experience

Additionally, we encourage players and coaches to utilize our 'Message Board' to possibly link up and make connections.
