The Pioneers had a solid 2026 season after losing five starters off the 2025 team. ZT finished with a 19-10, 13-1 SVC record. Zane Trace won the SVC outright after losing their first league game then rolling off 13 wins in a row in the league. The non league games were not as successful this season, but to be honest, we play much better or larger programs for the most part in our non league schedule. After a home tournament win, the Pioneers lost in the District Tournament to the Ohio Valley Conference Champion Ironton Tigers by the score of 2-0 in a great high school baseball game at Bob Wren Stadium at Ohio University.
In the past 5 seasons, Zane Trace has a 100-42 overall record. The Pioneers are 48-8 in the Scioto Valley Conferene with three league championships during that time period.
