INTERESTED IN CTYSA FALL SOFTBALL?
CTYSA will, for the 4th season, hold it's annual fall softball league. The rules are a bit different in that you can come with teams formed, there are no fundraisers, no sponsors or jerseys provided and we try to keep the games to just 1 per week so there is room for other activities, but the fun and excitement are the same and we have teams from all over Central Texas participate in the only fall game in town.
If you want more information, please check out the fall web site @ www.leaguelineup.com/ctysafall
Quick answers to common questions are: It cost just $40 per player or $80 maximum per family, yes, we have trophys for everyone, it is 10 games guaranteed which includes an end of the season tournament and it usually runs from the beginning of August to the beginning of November. Pixie, 10U and 12U (if we get at least 4 teams in each) We already have 8 teams in Pixie and we just started advertising the league, already 5 in 10U and 2 committed teams to this point in 12U.
If you have any questions, please contact Ron Stewart @ cprrs@aol.com.
Record Rainouts Cause Schedule Confusion
Having to reschedule over 40 games is sure to throw a wrench into any season and create confusion on where the games are moved to.
The best option for all teams is to check in on the schedule daily. The schedule can be viewed right here on the main page, simply scroll down to the bottom and you will have games from today theough almost the entire season.
If you have any questions about where one of you games was moved to, simply call your league commissioner for assistance.
T-Ball = Ron Stewart
Pixie = Dale Petter
10U = Amy Scopac
12U = Cathy & Judy Porubsky
15U Anna Anderson
Please be patient as we work through this unavoidable situation with our ever changing Texas spring weather.
Thanks for Selling the Candles
Thanks to everyone who sold candles for our spring fundraiser.
The candle sales go toward paying for the league end of the season party @ Summer Fun on Saturday June 14th. There is a $25 award for each top salesperson in each age division. Additionally, CTYSA provides pizza to the team in each age division who sells the most candles to enjoy at the end of season party.
End of the Season Party, Closing Ceremonies & All-Star Games
The end of the season party @ Summer Fun USA will be held on Saturday June 14th from 6:30-9:30PM. The candle sales go toward paying for the Summer Fun night. All players get in free with their imediate family. Friends and extended family can attend as well, but will owe a nominal fee of just $5.
We are doing the closing ceremonies actually AFTER Summer Fun this year because of a conflict with many of the players and softball tournaments. The closing ceremonies and all-star games will be held on Tuesday, June 17th this year beginning promptly @ 6:00, still @ Wilson Park Fields. Hopefully we will get to play the games this season, if you were here last year, you know what I mean. We tried 3 times and got rained out each time.
Trophys will be awarded to all players and all-star games will begin directly after the age division has recieved their trophys.
