Adam Provost has compiled a record of 464-204 as a head coach over 26 years in Vermont coaching an array of middle school, 14-15 year old Babe Ruth, Senior Babe Ruth, American Legion and high school baseball. From 2006-2012 he was the Head Coach at Burr and Burton Academy (BBA) in Manchester, Vermont. During this time the baseball program had the most wins in school history over a six-year span, including three trips to the State Finals. Prior to coming to BBA, Provost coached at Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) for 15 years, with 10 at the Varsity helm. Provost led CVU to it's first Division I State Title in 2003 and was named Metro Division Coach of the Year. He has conducted over 100 highly regarded instructional camps for youth and for coaches over his career. Provost was on sabbatical in the Spring of 2013, traveling the world to study innovation in education and school leadership and wrote for Edutopia.org, and now works at Burlington School District to create new programs for students. He currently serves as President of the Vermont Information Technology Association for Learning (VITA-Learn.org), Board Member (former President and Executive Director) for the Vermont Baseball Coaches Association, Executive Director of the 643DP Foundation, and is an Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Provost resides in Colchester Center, VT his wife, Janice, and two children, Grace (Cannons Videography Assistant, 2011) and Eben (Cannons Bat Boy 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and a player on the Junior Cannons in 2014 and 2015).
